Bought it at a shop in WA a few months ago, I mainly use it as a water bottle when I'm not carrying a pack, so plenty of both day-to-day and outdoor use. I keep water jugs in the car when out and there's loads of fountains for filling on campus, so refilling isn't a problem for me, but might be annoying in some places.

Received this about 10 years ago for christmas. I use it every time I fly to bring my favorite liquer with me so I don't have to pay hotel prices on drinks. I have no complaints except it is only 8 oz. No seriously, this is a great product. I own many Stanley products and this lives up. Stanly has been great with helping out with replacement parts if you contact them. LOVE their push button coffee cups! I own 4

Picked up on a whim when I say it on my local market's clearance shelf. Decided it would make a nice, eccentric water bottle. Now I never leave the house without it. Great size and super durable (cause why wouldn't it be?)

I've had this for a couple years now. Generally my go to flask. Wide mouth makes it easy to fill and it seems pretty indestructible like all my other stanley stuff. Buy it.

I bought this for my upcoming camping trip with old friends. Awesome quality, no leaks, and it has that undeniable, old school "coolness" factor to it. It's the perfect item for when you reminisce about old memories, sitting with your best friends around the fire place; a reliable partner for your adventures.

Stainless steel , no funnel required ,and sturdy ... I have owned 1 since 2012 . I recommend !

I bought this for myself, and it worked so well traveling in my suitcase (no leaks!) that I ordered 2 more for gifts. Recipients loved them too!

I like the shape and the old school look. It fits in a lot of pockets better than a traditional wider flask. But there are two reasons it doesn't get 5 stars. 1) the piece holding he cap to the flask is plastic, not metal. It's brand new and already feels flimsy. It's going to break sooner rather than later. And 2) the "wide mouth" is more aspirational than actual. Is is wider than the other flask? Technically yes. Can you fill it without a funnel? Well you can try but 9 times out of 10 you're still going to spill a good bit.

Never having had a flask before, all I can say is "this qualifies as "wide-mouthed"?

This flask is gorgeous! The dark red wine color is deep, like blood almost. It's a smooth finish instead of the textured hammer tone green, but it works well. The wide mouth is appreciated when pouring whiskey straight from the bottle. There's no need for a funnel, only a steady hand. My only qualm is that the lid is quite smooth, and doesn't grip all that well when it's closed very tightly- and who would want to close it loosely and risk spilling out that delicious booze? Other than that, it's a good size, fits well in the hand, slips easily into a cost pocket. Just give me a call when you put some larger scallops in the lid, Stanley!

I have purchased two for the household and several for gifts. I love it, but the plastic washer in the cap does not stay put. I've lost one and now the flask leaks. I haven't been able find a replacement.

Perfect flask until it leaks in your pack. Outstanding construction and design! The "can't lose the top" makes it perfect for having a nip in the ski lift. Too bad the silicone gasket/washer/o-ring came out and was lost...hope no one swallowed it. No replacement parts at REI or on the website.

Why , I had my 8 year old daughter say mommy can I get this? Wow.

I bought the 8 oz flask that stated never lose the lid. The weld that holds the lid has broken I have tried to call to no avail I liked my flask since it doesn't leak in my golf bag. A replacement would be nice

It's listed as double wall insulted. I was going to use this for tea or coffee while skiing and hiking. But if it's insulated I can't tell cause thing gets hot as soon as you put some in. Ok for hand warming not great at keeping things warm if you wanted to.

I purchased this flask 2 days ago. Bought it home rinsed it out and added my favorite bourbon. On the following day I cleaned the flask with a mild soap and discovered rust spots around the seam of where the bottom portion is joined to the top half.

For travel to friends house, leaks when on its side

I received this as a gift, washed it out and filled it with whiskey for the weekend poured out what was left on Monday (about 3 ounces) and it was nearly black, yuck!
