Finally a product that actually does what it says....Our morning coffee is hot to the last drop. If there's leftovers I have to ice it down for a late afternoon Ice Coffee.

This has so much capacity that my family of four drank hot tea on our afternoon hike the entire way through. We came home and poured out the other half, still steaming.

Just as advertised and already checked it out with the time expectations to keep the coffee hot. Was perfect!

Beautiful and well built. Exactly as expected. I love that a whole pot of coffee fits with room to spare and kept hot for at least 4 hrs, at which time we ran out of coffee, I'm sure it would have kept hot even longer.

Really a review on Zappos shipping. Ordered two of these so far and both have arrived dented. They only took up one third of the box with no packing around them to stop them front rolling around. Not sure if that caused the dents but seems likely. Now they are out of stock so not sure when I will be able to find out how good the product really is. Posting this review to make sure people know to check for dents before using!

This product replaced a broken insulated carafe at camp. For a few dollars more I have a more portable more durable thermos I can take hunting and fishing as well. It holds a pot of coffee and keeps it hot all day ice fishing.

This massive jug holds enough water to keep me working all day! The 1st couple times I used I didn't use enough ice so it got warm- Id say maybe 6-10 cubes will keep it ice cold all day even in the heat. Stands up to everything

Keeps contents hot for hours!

I am very happy with my new Stanley thermos because of 1. Its size-most thermos don't have this capacity 2. Handle-I found other smaller thermos slipping out of my hands and no good way to grasp them 3. Its cold keeping ability-I filled with some ice and water on Monday and drank from it throughout the week and on Friday there is still a lot of ice left and 4. It has a cup on top should I want to use a cup versus chugging out of a container directly. It is a great quality product and I'm very happy with it.

We purchased these for use with the local fire departments, they keep the coffee hot and the hot chocolate available for the men and women of the local units when on scene.

Our coffee stayed hot for at least 9 hours!

I bought this Stanley for a Christmas Party for a big group and it did the trick. It kept the coffee hot for over 6 hours even being outside in 53 degree weather. My wife cleaned it out good and used it for chilled white wine so we did not have to worry about glass bottles at a concert in the park. I recommend this item for anyone who needs the capacity otherwise buy one of Stanley's smaller sizes in the same product.

Have not used it yet but like the new handle. I would prefer a smaller mouth so I can drink my water without spilling while driving in a bumpy truck, like one of my older Stanley thermos. Otherwise it should work great.

Good product . Bought this Thermos and looked forward to receiving it . It was delivered on time and in good shape. The thermos kept my coffee hot . I thought it was a good deal being 2.5 L vs 2.0L . Only drawback is it's far too tall to fit under coffee machines at the Truck stops . Maybe keep the same 2.5L but make it bigger in diameter and keep the same height as the regular old Timer Thermos . Overall ..... pleased

It's HUGE!!! It's WAY BIGGER than I expected! But I will keep it. It's great quality. I will find ways to use it.

Hot water does not stay hot beyond 24 hours. When we fill it with boiling water at night the next day the water is more lukewarm than hot.

My father in law used a Stanley for 25 years in the coal mines and after 12 hours he still had hot coffee. I'm sad to say that hasn't been the case for me. I'm disappointed in the stopper, it feels cheap to me. After about 6 hours I have luke warm coffee. I would have purchased a smaller one, but the 2.5 was on sale and the 1.5 would have actually cost more.

I was really excited to have warm water when i do my horseback riding trips in the middle of the mountains, but somehow got a defective bottle. Sadly, the water stays warm maybe for an hour, give or take. I've already filed a warranty complain so will update this review if they give me a solution. Stay tuned

Like I stated in "con" comments, I currently have five- that's (5) brand new Thermos vacuums bottles, all new, and none of them will keep fluids hot. I have purchased and used these vacuumed bottles extensively since 1970 when I went to work- logging and construction work; at that time these vacuumed bottles were tough/ rugged and would last several years. Now, brand new- they don't keep fluids hot, not even warm-after two hours. What has happened with this product?
