Keeps warm liquids for a long time but less than what it us stated, screw top is kinda hard. Maybe use flip system.

It says that it will keep liquids hot - but it only keep my coffee warm for a few hours, then it's tepid. This is nothing like the old glass thermos. So sorry!

It looks nice but the lid is a nightmare. It drips every time I serve and the flow is unpredictable. I looked at videos, tried many different ways but still doesn't work as expected. Looking into returning the item

I have owned a number of these the first one I bought 30 plus years ago and it worked great. Had it for a long time. Now I have purchased several over the last few years and none of them will keep my coffee warm long enough to get my second cup.

I received this as a Christmas gift and in less than a month I noticed tiny air bubbles coming from the seam at the bottom of the bottle when washing. I reached out to Stanley for a warranty replacement and in about 2 weeks I received a package, but it was the wrong item. I reached out to Customer Service and they kindly sent another package. Another couple weeks later, at least this time it was the correct item. Before even attempting to use it I submerged the bottom seam under water and saw 2 tiny streams of bubbles flow from the seam. I also double checked the Care and Use guide to make sure "Do Not Submerge" wasn't listed. Extremely disappointed in the quality of the product. The Stanley people I spoke with were very kind, but with a failing product behind that, it isn't enough to remedy the situation.

I was very excited about this product and did a fair amount of research and thought it would be ideal for my needs. My wife got it for me as a Christmas present. Unfortunately, while it looks great and I love the design and wanted to use it for years to come it just does not seem to keep my coffee hot. In only 2-3 hours it seems the boiling hot coffee has gone to room temperature. I was very disappointed considering the "15 hours" hot claim... Maybe I got a defective one because others reviews seem so glowing. Sadly, that's what encouraged me to want it.

I found myself at the store about a year ago shopping for a new small thermos. I had several styles and brands to choose from. I decided to go with a name brand I have used in the past, Stanley. The first time I used my new high speed low drag Stanley 16 oz. Classic Vacuum Insulated Bottle it resulted in half the thermos contents leaking into my backpack. Hey, it was only 15 degrees out that day! It was even better having my items in the backpack wet and later sticky from coffee. I figured I did something wrong, didn't get stopper on tight enough. Right? Second time I used my new thermos I made sure to double check the stopper. Everything appeared to be good, not mis-threaded, feels tight, is tight, turn thermos upside down multiple times, no leak, put thermos on passenger seat of truck. Mmmm, that coffee smells good in my truck. Yep, the contents of the thermos all over my leather seat! I do not understand how this is happening. It's a thermos, it's supposed to be able to be laid on its side, or dropped into the floorboard when you hit the brakes, or put in a backpack, or a pick nick basket. One of two things! My expectations of how a thermos should work and the environment it should be able to survive are way out of this world! Or, quality/control at the Stanley factory have gone way down! Either one, I am a very disappointed customer.

This morning at 7:10am I made some hot coffee and poured it into my 16oz Stanley vacuum flask (pre-heated with boiled water). By the time my first lesson of the day was finished and my darling Grade 8 History class left me in dire need of a hot cup of coffee at 8:30am I found that the coffee was disappointingly luke warm. My expectations were somewhat higher considering the boast of the packaging which indicated an impressive 8 hour insulation time. I have had no issues with the seal on the flask, as other comments posted here have indicated. Needless to say this poor performance makes me question the justification of the rather hefty price tag attached to this flask. I have previously owned a Thermos brand flask of the same size which performed significantly better than this.

Unlike most reviewers of contemporary Stanley thermoses, my 16 oz model (in red, purchased from West Elm) does a pretty good job of keeping my hot liquids hot. That is, if I can manage to screw in the stopper effectively.
The stopper of my vacuum bottle actively resists sitting correctly - preferring to screw in at a jaunty angle almost ensuring leaks and loss of heat.
If I do manage to screw it in flush to the bottle's lip, there is a very narrow window of "perfectly sealed" before the stopper pops free of its threads and must be screwed in again.
I'm not sure what could be the cause.
