Fit is probably ok but as another commented, the lack of a distinct tongue makes these less than appealing.

The shoe is beautiful but it keeps slipping off my ankle and there is no sock that stays on the shoe, it swallows the whole sock.

The material on the top of the shoe was nice and soft but no matter how I tied them they slid off my heels with every step. If the heel were cushioned that might not be a dealbreaker but it was super stiff in back and extremely uncomfortable just walking around my kitchen. Back they go.

This review is based more on the aesthetics. I love Sam Edelman shoes. They are comfortable, true to size, and usually very stylish. This pair missed the mark on stylish. Not sure what the leather material is, but it isn't good looking in person.

These shoes are SO CUTE, but they won't stay on your feet! The heel of the shoe has zero backing or support, so you step out of the shoes immediately and they fall off your feet. There is nothing there to keep the back from just sliding down, I've never seen anything like it - 100% do not recommend. I would return but I wore them to work with some adhesive padding attached to the inside of the heel (which did nothing to help).

I received the pair of shoes in early June but just began wearing it. Today is the third day i wore it. Guess what? the left upper went broken. If i could i would give it a zero star rating!!!
