It was bulky and heavy with the straps. I liked that there were a lot of compartments and Kipling zippers are always the best. However, it protrudes from the hip pretty far and was heavy even when empty. Sadly I had to return it, but I am grateful that Zappos' service and return policy is easy to work with.

Great bag, just like all the other Kipling bags. Mine would still be going strong if I hadn't lost it after many years of daily use. This one is a bit bigger than my old one and it does not have the option of wearing it around the waist (I don't see a "tuck away adjustable belt" anywhere on the bag as stated in the description). The one I received is a shoulder or crossbody bag only. Fabric and zippers are indistructible (at least that has been my experience). It has 4 zippered compartments: the one on the back is large (almost the size of the back of the bag) but flat. The two middle ones are about 1.5" deep (same width and length of the bag, see measurements in item description) and one of them has a zippered inner pocket on one side and two spaces for pens and a space for a small notebook or a small wallet on the other side, the other middle pocket is open space. The pocket on the outside front of the bag is a good size for a cell phone (it's 8" in length, 5" wide and 1" deep). This bag is a bit lager than what I was looking for and I'm thinking about returning it, but it's so nice that I might just keep it. I find that no matter how many times I read the measurements in the description of the item, nothing is like having it in your hands and being able to try it on (even for a bag). Hope this helps.

It's a great bag. You can wear it across the body or as a belt bag. It comes with two different straps, one for over the shoulder and one for around the waist. I like that it has 3 zippered compartments and a zippered inside pocket in the largest of the three compartments. This purchase replaces one exactly like this that I lost, which still looked new even after many years of daily use (the fabric that it is made of is great, water resistant and easily cleaned and the zippers are undistructible. My only complaint is that the gorilla that came with this one isn't as cute as the old gorillas.

I already owned this is black, got white this time. Super practical. Can hold a lot if you're willing to let it be a bit chunky (matters more if wearing around waist). I can easily hold phone, keys, small wallet, etc. - more of a size commitment if you want to add a sunglass case or more. Lovely well-built bag.

I wanted to like it b/c I love kipling bags and zippers, because they are lightweight and ergonomic, and have little thoughtful compartments. Unfortunately this one was too too big, and protrudes far from the body making it less ergonomic, and heavy. Sadly, have to return.

A great bag for secure travel and convenience. Can be shoulder bag or waist bag. Very lightweight but sturdy.

My go-to bag when I travel -- converts to hands free waist pack and back to a crossbody bag with ease. Holds more than most other bags its size. Matches everything. Love this bag. -- own it in 2 colors.

This is a super practical little bag and is my go-to bag when I'm on the go. I love that it can be a waist bag or a shoulder or crossbody bag. I can fit my small wallet, sunglasses, cell phone, lip gloss, mask, hand cream and keys which is basically all I ever need. Very versatile casual bag -- I pack it in my backpack for travel and take it out for shopping and touring around.

Was looking for a replacement for a small Kipling bag that I've had for years, but this did not fit the bill, so I returned it. It's a nice little bag, and despite being similar in dimensions to the one I was replacing, the design made it too small to be useful.
