Good size, similar to the Europa/ Erica style, just an inch taller. Less bulky than Europa and Erica. The color is richer in person and I love the sparkles. Not childish at all ... fits a lot, perfect for traveling or every day bag.

This replaced my Kipling metallic purse that until Covid, made it around the world as my travel purse. Pockets, size, style, weight, all great. I do wish that Kipling made the style that I had which had a flap that went over it with a zipper so it became another very large pocket I could put my iPad and and some other things. But as a replacement, this is still excellent.

This is a great bag overall. I love the single large inside compartment as opposed to have a separation. Only complaint is the pulls on the zippers overlap on 3 of the compartments when all are closed. If you are not paying attention, it can lead to a lot of unnecessary unzipping and rezipping until you hit the right pull for the compartment you want. Perfect size otherwise and perfect amount of compartments. Cute to boot!

This is a great everyday shoulder bag. I believe that Kipling designed this bag to replace the Europa shoulder bag. The Gabbie comes in two sizes. I tried the small Gabbie, but found it to be too small. I couldn’t get used to it. I was used to the Europa, which I’d worn for years. The outside pockets on the small Gabbie are not tall enough. My hand sanitizer didn’t fit in them. There is only one slip pocket on the inside, so I had to find a new place for my cell phone. I kept having to rearrange everything but, no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t get the smaller bag to work and I wasn’t comfortable with it. The regular size Gabbie is perfect. I like the black. I can still go hands-free when I need to, like when I go grocery shopping etc. Kipling redesigned the shoulder strap and made it narrower. I was afraid that this bag might feel heavier as a result, but so far this has not been the case. I think as long as I don’t cram it too full, the weight won’t be an issue.

This is almost the perfect bag. The only thing which bothers me is when all the zippers are closed, the pulls for some of the compartments can/and do overlap more often then not. This leads to grabbing the wrong pull and opening compartments and reclosing them until you actually hit upon the pull for the compartment you want. It may seem silly, but when you are in a hurry and not really paying attention, there can be a lot of unnecessary zipping and unzipping. Otherwise, the size of this bag is perfect! I like the single large internal compartment instead having a separation inside. It holds a lot for its size and is cute to boot! Recommend, but pay attention to those zippers!
