I have a narrow foot and these boots felt quite wide. I didn't realize they were unisex when I bought them which would explain why they felt larger than my other narrow Birkenstocks. If they fit they may be more comfortable but I gave them a 3 in comfort only because I had to select something and they are too big

The shoe is very stiff and was cutting into my shin bone. Would be great if maade from another material

This boot in "narrow" is anything but narrow in the body/upper of the shoe. It was comical fitting and yet a small opening big enough for me but would dig into my lower shin with every step. I have the London soft footbed in 42N and it's a delight. This is not that fit.

The top of this boot snugs around your ankle tightly. It is impossible to walk in this boot. I have small ankle too. Very disappointed. I will be returning.

The tops rub right into your legs. Very uncomfortable to walk in even to just try on.

Ill fitting and clunky.

Great boot, love the style, but not what I'm looking for at this moment.

I have had these for a year now, I have wide feet with a high instep. They can be a little tricky to get on depending on the socks, but do not bother my feet once on. They are great in the winter for mild snow days.

The perfect Chelsea boot! Exactly what I was looking for — a comfortable, casual, goes-with-everything, high-quality black leather boot. I ordered my usual Birkenstock size, and it fit perfectly. They were also comfortable right out of the box with no breaking-in needed. Didn’t even know when I ordered them that they are treated to be water-resistant and weather-proof; that was just a bonus to find out when they arrived. They also look very small and cute on my feet, not bulky and ugly like some other brands. Absolutely love!

I was expecting these to be a problem with my high arches. I’ve been in the hunt for Chelsea boots I could wear for years. These are perfect!!!! Easy to get on, fits true to size with a bit more room than I’d expect from a narrow and very comfortable! Al glad I took the chance on them.

I absolutely loved these boots. I wanted so badly to be able to keep them, but they were just too narrow for my feet. I will wait for them to become available in a wider fit.

Still doing the typical Birkenstock break in- can’t wait til that’s over cause then it will be so comfortable!!

I chose to get a larger size than I usually do for Birkenstocks because I wanted to wear wool socks with them and I had read from previous reviews that the opening on the top tends to be small and I have a difficult time pulling on boots to begin with. I looked at several different makers of the same style but went with a brand that I know to offer plenty of arch support and these don't disappoint. The top of these boots do have a small opening but there are elastic gores that will loosen up over time. I'm pretty happy with my purchase so far.

Size seemed "sure to size" though Birkenstocks do seem a little generous with sizing. These were purchased for my adult son. I think they will fit well with a medium weight sock and a little room for a heavier sock as well. They are somewhat waterproof (resistant)? and should be easy to get on/off when traveling.

wanted the narrow to fit, since black was not available in regular, but alas, my foot is not so narrow.

SOOOO hard to get into. Like, I dread trying to put them on. And they aren't the same footbed as Birks, so it's not worth the effort.

Fit was standard to Birkenstock and very good support. But these boots are heavy.

Fit and size was fine. However, after wearing them around the house for a bit, the opening around my ankle was so tight it felt like it was cutting off circulation. Probably something that would stretch out over time, though. Other than that, these are comfy and sturdy. Unfortunately, they are a bit heavy. As I’m looking for work shoes, these are getting returned. Going to try the Birk Bend Chelsea instead.

I have the Salon in gray and I love them so I said why not and ordered the black. One shoe was shorter then the other, my toe rubbed on my left foot but not my right. So they went back, I would still consider ordering a black pair this winter if available.

2nd the comment that these are very difficult to put on. Not enough flex in the entrance. The tab hole is too small for my finger, so I have to pinch it. Better luck on the next version Birkenstock!! Blundstones are clearly the superior choice.
