These are the only shoe-type sneakers that I can wear all day that won't irritate the plantar fasciitis. Very comfortable and last forever!

Fit and style excellent

I wanted a pair of everyday shoes for casual wear around the house and for going out grocery shopping, etc. These shoes needed to replace a favorite pair that was wearing through at the sole from constant wear. I wanted the shoes to be mostly black, without the colorful stripes and contrasts that so many athletic shoes have. I liked the look of slip-ons, but the slip-on styles I tried were all too tight across my instep, cutting off the blood circulation to my toes and requiring shoe-horns to put on. Several other styles I tried that seemed to have shoelaces were really just 'faux-lace-up' shoes with tethered tongues that made the shoes actually slip-ons ... and again those were too tight. These Dansko Henriettes in black turned out to fit the bill. The mostly black uppers have discreet, black-on-black stripes that don't call attention to themselves, making these shoes suitable for wear with many different outfits. The arch support is great. The soles are grippy but don't have large, mud-collecting recesses in them, making them good for indoor-outdoor trips to the yard. And the elastic laces hide a detached tongue which allows plenty of room for my high instep. The only minor criticism I have is that the fabric used for the stripes is, and looks, very manmade (i.e. plast-icky). But I do like these shoes anyway, and I'm keeping them.

This is my 4th pair. I love them. I have a fused ankle. These shoes offer support, but are not heavy. We travel extensively, lots of hiking and just walking, perfect.

This Dansko style shoe is perfect for my feet. This is my third pair over that I've had over several years. Love it and will likely order another pair in the future.

I LOVE these shoes! I have them in 3 colors. They are as comfortable as sneakers but a little more stylish. I remove the insoles and put in orthodics.

Having a similar black pair I purchased the blue and really like the color. The fit is slightly different, with higher sides and back heel as well. Not uncomfortable, but will take some getting used to.

I love these shoes. And thanks to the reviews I ordered up a size and the fit is perfect. Bought them for an upcoming trip where there will be lots and lots of walking -- I hoping these will be the only shoes I bring. They are very light weight, but feel sturdy.

These are a great walking shoe and nice for wearing everyday. They work well for those of us who have long, narrow feet.

I am a size 36 in all my Dansko’s. I have 4 other pairs as I am always on my feet for work. (3 clogs & another style of waterproof tennis shoes with the vibram sole) These in particular run one size small and are much tighter. Maybe partially bc of the elastic shoelace closing. But also bc of the tighter fit. I love Dansko’s & Zappos too for the speedy exchange from 36 to 37. Size up & you’ll be golden!

Dansko shoes have been my "go-to" shoe for 20 years. Bought these sneakers as a comfortable flat while in salon. Really liked the style and cushion, but they are too narrow for my toes. Returned these and got the waterproof leather style.

Perfect as always. While I can't wear every style of Dansko, the ones that work are amazingly comfortable, supportive and long lasting. Normal shoes size is 6. Dansko is always 36. Period. I'm in the high desert so socks are optional, but I can wear these with a thin sock. These will keep my comfortable all day in my salon suite.

Love these shoes. I wore them all day right out of the box. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day and have Plantar fasciitis and these shoes were/are amazingly comfortable.

I bought these to use as walking shoes while my plantar fasciitis was acting up. They were comfortable right out of the box - wide toe box / no heel slippage despite my narrow heels. Plantar fasciitis went away shortly after I started wearing them. Bought size 40 and they fit my size 9 feet perfectly. Love them.

These would be amazing IF THEY CAME IN WIDE.

I have a narrow foot and it fits well. Length is good as well.

This is a sturdy comfy shoe for me. Very supportive sole, so not much give, still I can wear them most of the day without discomfort.
