I usually wear a 38, but had to return for a 37. I love these shoes and the Cabernet color! I have wanted a pair of Mary Janes for years and these are it! I feel like a little girl again at 60! I will be wearing them with jeans, slacks, skirts and dresses. Yay!

Such a cute and comfortable shoe, and a beautiful muted red/wine color. The shoe feels a bit long, but I do not “walk out of them” so I think they will be fine. I am afraid that the next smaller size would be too small. By the way, I wear a 7.5M, and this shoe is a 38.

Finally another Dansko that is cute and roomy enough for orthotics. I found the toe box to be very comfortable. Love the Velcro buckle. It is a nice enough to wear with dress slacks.

I ordered these at the same time with Dansko "Fawna" and it was no contest. I have trouble with an ingrown toenail on my big toe and these squished that area too much whereas the Fawna didn't bother it at all. They were also cut too low and showed toe cleavage--a look I hate.

I've been wearing almost exclusively another Dansko Mary Jane (Fawna) for several years. I love that one so much, I wanted to branch out to this lovely KAELYN. Here is how it worked for me, and my feet run a bit narrow for gauge: Love the color, love the style. The heel is low, so the shoe is quite flat, but comfortable immediately for city walking. Moderate arch support, but if you have high arches (I do) it may not be enough. The lower cut of the toe caused it to be a bit more roomy, problematic for narrower feet, but a good thing if your feet run wide. (I might wear closed-toe tights with these to help.) The Velcro close strap is a blessing because it allows the shoe to fit a wide variety of feet. NOTE: I've worn one pair of Velcro-closing Fawna for more than two years and the Velcro is still strong!) The toe bed doesn't seem as tall as other Dansko, so if that is a concern for you.... Also, the red is pretty close to the picture...not too bright, but not dull for sure. Overall, I like these, they were true to the size 40, a little roomy for narrow feet, very flattering, very comfortable. I will definitely buy them again. Happy with this purchase.

I love the Dansko Kaelyn shoes. They are so cute on and very comfortable. I ordered these before Christmas in a 38 as I wear 7.5 normally. My left foot is slightly smaller than the right and the 38 size was a little too big on both feet actually. Last week, I decided to send back the 38s and try 37 even though it said 6.5-7 US size. They are PERFECT! And what's better is that I can insert in them the same Abeo Metatarsal Orthotic I wear with my sneakers every day. Total comfort & support! A++

Very stylish, I’d say a 1/4 smaller than the actual size. Good arch support.

This is a great fit with an orthotic. The toe box is full and very comfortable. It is also cute! It is the first shoe since Dansko Fawna that I have been able to wear. Wish they would make more pretty shoes to accommodate orthotics.

I can see why some think these shoes are too big, but I think they are a little roomy in the toe intentionally for comfort. I always wear a 37 regular in Dansko clog Mary Janes, so I ordered the same in these and was concerned they felt a half size too big when I put them on, but the buckles keep my foot from slipping and they actually feel really good when I walk. They are adorable with tights and dresses and really comfortable. I hope they don't stretch out too much as they break in, because then they might be too big, but I also love the roominess in the toes as they are now. So far, so good.

Looks like a very good quality shoes and nice leather. As for comfort I can't really say since it's too big. I never wore Dansko before, so I followed the sizing guideline. I normally wear size 6.5-7 any brand, so I ordered size 37, but it was too big. Sadly I have to return them.

I put them on and my MIL exclaimed, ‘They look JUST like you!’

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. The leather is soft, the toe box is roomy and wide enough for my square feet. I had tried on my regular size (38) and found it too big and the 37 fit perfectly. If you have long toes, you might not be able to size down. The arch support is not as good as some Danskos but I have a high arch and, for a flat shoe, this will be fine. The cabernet color is lovely!

I love Mary Janes. But as an adult they’re usually styled too frumpy. These are simple, well made, remarkably comfortable. I have a high ínstep & was concerned about the Velcro closure-but am happy to report it fits great. I’m a true 8 & 1/2 & a dánsko 39 usually fits well. These feel a little longer? Nothing to complain about. Width also typical for dansko, fits my slightly wider foot perfectly. Very pleased with this shoe

Love these shoes! Easy to wear around the office all day, Flattering with many styles, simple and versatile.

Comfortable and a very unique grey color! I have bad hips, high insteps and bunions, with narrow heels...yeah to genetics, right? This shoe fit wonderfully and has a slim and attractive look. It is somewhat wide, but nonetheless very comfortable; I highly recommend. Not your average Mary Jane...

These are my first Danish shoes, and I am delighted, very comfortable, and nice-looking!!

Returned . Regular size 40 .one size too big! When ordering size one down unless your going to wear heavy socks.

These are very cute maryjanes. I bought them in the reddish color and it is just right. Not too bright. I have to wear shoes with low heels due to a foot issue, but I don't want to wear boring shoes. These are perfect. My usual size in Danskos is 37, and these are just right.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

The first Danskos I've been able to own! I have super high insteps so Danskos are usually horribly uncomfortable for me but these adjustable strap Mary Janes are great. I can't do higher heels anymore due to a back injury but I like having a little something to maintain an adult/feminine look. The only negative was that the red pair I ordered came with some scuffs etc. so either not carefully handled or previously worn which for the price was not ideal.

I'm returning. First purchase through Zappos. Nice shoe. Not a good fit and certainly not a keeper for the money.
