I LOVE these shoes! I have worn them all day every day since I got them and I get a ton of compliments. I wear a 9 in most shoes and have wider feet and a high arch - the 39 in these were perfect! I wish there were more colors because I would buy them all!

Very nice shoe. Too big and followed other reviews but I need my regular size. I ordered size 37 and I normally wear a 36 ..had to send them back.

I work at a bank and I am on my feet all day, I also have super high arches so I need good support. I have the Professionals & XP 2.0 in 37s ( along with other colors ) sometimes at the end of day my feet still hurt ( xps are too big, support isn’t in the right place ) and my Professionals the top is tight on my foot. I tried on this style at Lamey Wellehan, the 37s were big but 36 was perfect. I winged ordering a 36 in these hoping for a perfect fit - my right shoe is perfect and the left is a hair smaller ( which I get since they’re hand made ) They didn’t hurt my feet at all while wearing them, nor after taking them off. Super light weight and you can dress down or up, the brown was a nice color in person - but I went with black where it matches everything.

Love love love these shoes!!! They are by far the most comfortable shoes I own! All day comfort-in my feet all day! Highly recommend these clogs!

Beautiful clog and oh so comfortable! I am a true size 7 and the 37 was perfect. I can wear these clogs with or without socks, which I love! Spent all day with them on my feet after receiving them a few days ago and zero issues. Absolute comfort!! Love them and may need them in another color........ :)

I love these shoes! Straight air of the box they are a perfect fit. And, a break in period is not need. The very first day I wore them people noticed and complemented me on them. I wear size 9M so I got a size 39. I got black and they are so cute! This is my 2nd pair of Dansko’s and I will definitely be getting more. I highly recommend this shoe! You will love it!

So glad I finally purchased these shoes, very comfortable and cute. I do agree that they run big. I purchased my normal 39 which I typically wear in Dansko and Birkenstock but they were too big in length. Bought the 38 and they are perfect. Still slippage in the heel which is the way they are supposed to fit.

Love these shoes. Always love Dansko, but these are first style that doesn't hurt top of foot.

FInally, after several pairs of shoes in a variety of styles, this one is it. Thank you Zappos for your patience! I got the black and I wish there were a variety of colors. Last fall, I purchased the boots that are fur lined and I wore the heck out of those....so comfy, so these clogs looked like the same sole as those and I opted to try. I wear a straight up 9 almost always, sometimes an 8 1/2 but rarely. I have a full foot, not wide, but because of that, many times a medium width will pinch my baby toes so I really need a slightly wider toe box. This is my 4th pair of Dansko’s and I’m always a 39, even on ones I’ve tried and sent back. So I was a bit scared, after reading all the reviews, that these would be way too big, like many reviewers stated. However, I don’t think people realize that these and the professional clogs, should have a pinky width space between the back of you heel and the shoe so that when you walk, your foot easily comes off the heel as they’re designed. So these fit me perfectly with that little bit of width that should be there. You can check that out on the Dansko website where it tells you how they should fit. I tried the professional ones first. The footbed was harder but was still very comfy and they fit just like these. However, those have a padding across the top of your foot. You would think that we be more comfortable, but that padding dug into the top of my foot so badly, they really hurt and I could tell they would have bruised my foot. But just standing though, they were perfect. These without that padded area, don’t hurt at all. I really love these and I intend to wear them even this summer. This is a great shoe! All that to say, it’s my experience that these run true to size if fitted properly.

These are so comfortable! I'm a teacher, so I prioritize comfort. But I want to look cute, too! These don't make my feet look big, are sassy with both skirts and pants, and allow me to run around all day without thinking about my feet... I may invest in the other color!

I read ALL the reviews on this shoe before I purchased. The overwhelming trend said that this shoe runs large. I have many Dansko and Birkenstock shoes. I wear a consistent size 40 in both of those brands! I ordered a 39 in this shoe because so many people said it runs large. It came on Friday. I was excited to try it on.....except I could not get my foot into the shoe with socks on. After putting a nylon pantyhose stocking on, I was able to wedge my foot in.. it was tight in length, width and depth. I couldn't stand up once the shoe was on because it was too tight. But in reality----it was the size smaller than I normally wear. Saturday morning I ordered the size 40(which is what I normally wear). The shoe was delivered to my door this Monday morning! I was pleasantly surprised how fast the shipping was! I tried it on with my normal weight socks. It fits perfectly! The width is just right. There is room but not sloppy extra and it fits the contour, arch, and ball of my foot. My toes have the right amount of room to wiggle. There is also enough depth that my foot is not squeezed from the top. About the length, a clog should NOT be snug on the heel. It should have room for movement because the sole of the shoe is rigid. Your foot has to bend somewhere when you walk. My heal has the right amount of room to move when I walk. Because the rest of the shoe fits properly, I do not "walk out" of this shoe even though the heel is not snug. It is a perfect fit. The inside of the shoe--the arch hits at the right spot for me. It is a solid supportive arch much like Dansko is known for. The inside has a slight cushion/give to it but it is not squishy and you can't remove it. There is a give/energy return to the sole of the shoe. It looks like the sole is wood but it's really a high density type rubber that seems to absorb/cushion impact when you walk. I think I am going to really like these shoes! They seem likely to form to my foot well! It is a nice lighter two-tone brown color! The opening is a little larger then the professionals...which I really like. It also shoes a bit more of the pattern of my sock if my pants are shorter. I wanted to wear these with jeans or chinos with a nice shirt/sweater, etc....for daily wear or for a casual meeting. They are exactly what I wanted. It does seem like they will scuff but that is the nature of this type of burnished leather. It has a casual feel to it for sure....but I really like it! My opinion is that you should order your normal size. It worked out well for me!

I wrote a review earlier this week to pay attention to all of the reviews highly recommending ordering a size down - everyone was right. I returned my size 38 for a size 37 and I just got notice that they were delivered ... a day early! I returned the size 38's at our local UPS store Monday evening and I already received my new pair today! I cannot think of better service than that, highly impressed with Zappos customer service. Now I can't wait to wear them!!

I've been buying Dansko clogs for 25 years, so I'm accustomed to the fit. When I purchased these, I didn't realize that the Brenna style is slightly different in the back part of the shoe where the heel sits. I compared it to another pair of clogs that are the standard Professional style, and the heel area is constructed differently. Unfortunately, this makes it wider and more roomy, so they slipped off when I walked. I love the styling of this clog, but I had to return and will have to stick with the Professional style.

Compared to professional these are much wider but just as great. Perhaps a bit less arch support. They are honestly too wide for me but I like them and will compromise

The Sand Full Grain Suede color online is darker than in-person. The clogs are quite pale, not a saddle color, so be warned. This is the second time I've purchased these clogs and I still maintain they run 1/2 size large in terms of length. I'm usually 38 in all Dansko clogs and while this fit nice and loose around the opening they way I like my clogs, the length is too long, like about 1.5". I previously bought a 37 in the black, and it was still a tiny bit loose around the opening and comfortable. However, as the day wore on and my feet swelled, the clog would fit more like a shoe and I couldn't just step out of the clog without using my hand to remove the shoe. If you plan to wear this with a thin or medium thick sock, buy your usual size. But if you want to wear them with no-show nylons for warmer weather, then go down one size.

Have been wearing dansko clogs for many, many years, and these are like the others in terms of fit and comfort, but they’re kind of “low cut,” which means that it’s pretty much impossible to wear socks with them without the socks showing. Like even the “no show” socks still show under these. Kinda annoying.

I love the shoe, but I have high arches and found that they bothered the top of my foot too much to keep. I think they would have been fine if they didn't have the thin narrow leather seam sewn around the top. I love Dansko shoes but they aren't for people with high arches.

These seemed to be bigger than my Dansko XP professionals that I wear to work. I’m sending back bc I slip too far out of them.

This is a beautiful shoe. I am used to the professional style, so I found this shoe did not have the smooth "roll" and arch support of the professional style. I am always a 39 in the professional style, and the Brenna style felt slightly bigger lengthwise and on the sides toward the back, so I returned this shoe and purchased the professional style in a similar color and love it!

Please believe me and all of the other reviewers that this style Dansko clog runs BIG, a full size too big. I have purchased no less than a dozen pairs of Dansko's in the past and have always worn a size 38, but I had to return these for a 37. I tried them on with my thickest socks, and they still gapped a bit in the back. But they are cute, can't wait to get my new pair!

Are usually buy a 39 or 40 in Dansko and Merrill shoes. I read reviews that said the shoes were fitting very large so I’ve got the 39. Had to return them for a 38. There’s still a bit large but with socks I think they will do and I really like the shoes. However beware, because the site says they are true to size and they, but most reviews, or not.

There is a slight breaking in period that resulted in some blisters on my pinky toes. I run restaurants and am on my feet ALL day/night. These aren’t as comfortable as my other Danskos (Liliana) but they are getting there. I originally bought my usual Dansko size but ended up returning for one size smaller.

I’ve purchased the same size in danskos (size 36) for 15 years. These felt one or two sizes too big. Dansko must have changed their sizing, which is a disappointment because they’re the only shoes that have been consistently comfortable until this order.
