The people on here who are writing bad reviews because they failed to read both the title and the description are ridiculous. It says right there that this is a listing for ONE shoe. Your inability to pay attention is neither the fault of the company nor the product. Read. Words mean things. As for the people who are exclaiming "Why would you only sell one shoe???", your entitlement and ablisim is showing. Did it ever cross your mind that amputees exist? People who have different sizing requirements for each foot? People who wear one shoe down more/faster than the other due to a limp or other physical considerations? Maybe think outside of your own experience for once. Anyway, the shoes are great. Converse never goes out of style, and are super versatile. I'm extremely happy that Zappos and Converse are offering a single shoe option, and being open and considerate to the needs of everybody. *Clearly* we need more of that in the world. Sheesh.

I really am happy with ZapposAdaptive’s single shoe program! I have been looking for a way to buy only 1 pair of shoes with feet that are 2 sizes difference. I hope your test goes well and you are able to encourage other brand names to join you like adidas and ASICS.

SO glad that converse comes in half sizes! I never knew that so I stopped buying them. Also grateful to be able to just purchase 1 shoe as I am an amputee. Thanks Zappos

Comfy! This is my first pair of converse, and I'm pleasantly surprised.

Bought for my son to accommodate his AFO brace. We had to go WAY up in sizing (he usually wears a youth size 6) for that one foot, but also needed the two shoes to match. So far they seem to fit well! Glad there is a company out there that can fill this niche! Thank you!

I'm not sure what the people who are saying these are very different from 'how they used to make 'em' are talking about: there are a few little cosmetic design details that are different from the shoe they made in the 80s when the black on black Chucks were first introduced (there's now a big CONVERSE logo printed on the insole, and the insole is now black; the sole has a fancy CONVERSE logo on it but no little circle with the shoe size in it) but it seems to be the same materials and manufacturing process, right down to the weird fuzzy 'flocking' that wears off the soles in the first few days of wear. The fit doesn't seem to have changed either, although they weren't labeled in women's sizes back in the day - I remember having to do the size conversion to men's sizes and then downsize by a half size. They apparently still run a little large if you go by the men's sizes, but the women's sizing seems to take this into account - I ordered my usual size and they fit fine. It's kind of cool that you can order single shoes and mix and match if that's your thing - you used to have to buy multiple pairs of Chucks to do that (although they cost less back then too, so doing so was more accessible.) There's still zero arch support and next to no cushioning in the footbed, but I actually didn't want that for what I got these shoes for. They're pretty stable with lots of ankle support if the laces are snug and laced all the way up, and they're a relatively comfortable all day shoe.

I paid for my right shoe and it was to small if I can get my money back that will be fine or I can get my right shoe that fine

I got my order on-time however; I got a size 8 and a size 11 as a pair of shoes. In other words I got 2 different foot of shoes. For this reason I cannot rate/give a star as the order does not deserve even 1 star and only selected a star because i was forced to.

This is probably my fault for not reading properly, but this is only 1 shoe! It never crossed my mind that they would only sell me 1 shoe! Not happy and I returned!
