My experience with David Tate Cubana from Zappos was a real Saga. I recently discovered that I have a bunion and I keep getting corns because I need wider boots. So I tried several boot styles in wide widths. First, Franco Sarto Bealey and LifeStride Sanibelle-both in 8W. The Bealey were too narrow (seemed like a regular width) and Sanibelle was too long (my foot kept sliding forward). Then I tried Franco Sarto Marcus 7.5W( again too narrow) and the David Tate Cubana in 8W.But Zappos sent an 8.5M! I did receive a discount from customer service, so I ordered the Cubana again and this time I received what I ordered- 8W. They had room for my width and I decided to keep them. But as soon as I wore them with thin insoles, I realized, they're just too big in the front toe box and, again my foot slides forward. They're only comfortable with double insoles and thick padded socks. They didn't have them in 7.5W. I've deduced that 7.5W might be my ideal size in some boots(as we all know every brand is different!). So, if you have wide feet and you purchase the size thats your "true" size" you'll still need some insoles or thick socks. My well wishes to any who need wide width shoes or boots.

My pair of boots weren't made well. The stitching at the top was coming undone but otherwise they have a nice look. Will be returning.

These felt great, plenty wide but despite the great fit the right hand zipper on the right boot popped open (zipper pull at the top closed position). My husband got the pull down and I rezipped it. It popped open again. This after two days of wear.
