I had a hard time figuring out how to rate these shoes. I love them. They’re adorable and SO comfortable, but when I spend this much money on a pair of shoes, I’d like to wear them without alerting the entire neighborhood that I’m on a walk. No sneaking up on anyone with these shoes. Every step. Squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak. We’re talking LOUD squeaking- not little mouse squeaks, and it’s in both shoes. I examined them, and it’s the actual leather strap rubbing that’s causing the noise. It’s not the buckle, and since this is the way they’re actually designed, I’m not sure exchanging them for a new pair will help. I love them though, so it’s worth a try. I’ll let you know…?

These shoes are so cute but as another reviewer pointed out, these shoes are super squeaky! Sadly I’m going to have to send them back.

This shoe is very narrow. Feels so much smaller all around compared to any of the unisex in the same size. Very disappointing. I wish the big buckle came on more styles and esp the gold big buckle.

Sadly I am returning these because I can’t stand the squeaking when I walk.

It feels a half size shorter

One of the shoes came with some scratches on the top. Very disappointing that they were not inspected before shipping. I was thinking in keeping them but definitely the damage is too visible. When I tried to buy them again the price was higher, so I got them from Revolve in a different color also at a great price. They are super cute, comfortable and fit perfectly.

Loved the look and feel BUT the comments from all of the other dissatisfied customers was totally correct and intolerable…….THEY SQUEEK WHEN YOU WALK! I Just cannot do it. What a shame

I have many many pairs of birkenstocks... am always a 38. These were a tiny small and I would need a 39. However, they are getting returned because they are UMCOMFORTABLE! The sole is not the traditional birk soft footbed that is comfortable as you first stick your foot in. It is hard leather and my foot slid all around and I had to grip the shoe with my toes to try to keep it on. The top leather is very hard and hurt the top of my foot. I am returning and will get the traditional Boston clog with soft suede and regular footbed that is comfortable from day 1. I am sad because I do love the BIG BUCKLE!

The shoe was as expected but unfortunately these shoes make too much noise when walking , they squeak and it is very loud ! Otherwise I would have loved them . Sadly they will be returned.
