Very disappointed. Past Eccos have always fit well. These have a long, narrow,, pointed toe, and are instantly uncomfortable. Note to Ecco: I buy shoes to wear, not to look look like something out of a medieval tapestry.

Perfect fit. Too dark for a summer shoe imo (purchased in July), but I bought these for the long haul. They feel like they'll hold up for a long time.

Great shoes for dressing up for a nice dinner or special venue. I wanted a shoe with brown color and this is the deepest Ecco brown. Originally, my purchase was the brown Ecco Citytray cap toe. This shoe was a light tan and not even close to brown, beware. Good shoe, would buy again.

I have been ordering Eccos for over 20 years now with fairly consistent results. These are the first pair that seemed to deviate significantly from the past shoes I have purchased. I have fairly flat feet and this version has much more arch support than any other Ecco I have purchased. I was worried at first as too much support can lead to a very painful result, but so far my feet seem to being doing ok with this level. The one thing that truly is an unfortunate departure from past models is in the sole. Gone are the softer, more slip resistant soles of the past and instead the material of this sole is much more rigid and unfortunately very prone to slipping. As I work in hospitality and need to walk through a slippery kitchen environment quite often I find these shoes are a big disappointment and hazard in that area. So far the rest of the shoe seems to be quite good, but if you are buying expecting the same slip resistance as in the past from Ecco’s, I’m afraid you will be slipping on thin ice.

The hubs always has ecco dress shoes. After retiring his brown pair he tried these, but alas, the toe box is too narrow and one shoe rubbed his ankle/heel. Good looking shoe though.

Have other Ecco shoes of the size ordered, yet this shoe was had almost a full inch of space behind the heel when I slid my foot into what would be a normal position.

Ecco has been my go-to brand for years - but I think I need to give up on Ecco. Consistently sub-standard quality leathers and construction that lacks refinement. Ecco makes then cheap and wants to sell at a premium.
