Fit great.

Bought these shoes for my husband and he wears an 11.5 so I ordered and 11 and they were too small. I then ordered a size 12 and they fit him perfect.

I've been buying and wearing Doc's for over 35 years (dating myself), and these are definitely the stiffest, tightest pair I have had. They are breaking in nicely, however. I do like the new sole and insole, and the old style is great.

I have brought De Martens before. These were too tight and I didn’t think I could stand to wear them long enough to break them in. I sent them back.

The shoes were bigger than my usual size 6 and not very comfortable. I had to send them back.

I have bought many standard 8053 over the years. I thought I would try the " Slip Resistant" sole. It is a totally different shoe. Much narrower and tighter all around. the length is the same but way too tight for me. Bummer, I like the sole a lot. I will be returning and buying the standard 8053.
