Excellent shoe with plenty of wide and high toe box space and a narrow heel. Just right for me. I decided to keep the same shoe in the "Light Aluminum" color and return the paler "Arctic Fox" color. Both colors are nice.

New Balance is the only shoe that meets my foot's requirements

Great quality - just what I want for my everyday shoes. My orthotic inserts fit in nicely- the insoles that I took out (which came with) are substantial and soft - I hate to throw them away, but I have no use for them.
Color is really beautiful, very clean and classic yet vibrant. Really happy with these, I may buy a second pair and stash them until I wear these out!

I have two other pairs of these same shoes. That is a testament to how much I like them. They fit me which is hard for me with my wide feet. As long as these shoes are made, I will be purchasing them.

I wear 8 EE normally. In this shoe I had to order 8 1/2 EE as the 8 EE was too short. Overall the 8 1/2 EE shoe fits great in width & length. I wish the insoles were had more cushion. These shoes are perfect width EE (double wide) & the color & style are great. I’m ordering a second pair as EE seems to be hard to find. EE, style & color is very limited & not flattering at all. Thank you New Balance! Finally a show that fits me perfect. Please make more EE options & variety of styles & colors.

I was wearing Brooks Adrenaline 21 but 22 did not fit right.

These walking shoes are probably the best I have worn in a long time. I have started back walking and needed a great shoe, my instep is high and it’s difficult to find shoes. These are very good. I purchased the blue and silver but really wanted the pink and ice also. So, I will be ordering them later. They arrived very quickly, a day or two at the most. Thanks Zappos for helping me find a wide width shoe that’s great for walking.

I love these and have worn this version for over a year or more. The high toe box accommodates an overlapping toe. I aim to walk 3-4 miles each day and these are perfect! Thank you NB!

These shoes would have been perfect except that they were slightly too short. I normally wear a 7.5 to 8, so I was surprised that my toes touched the end of the 8 in this style. Otherwise, pretty, well made, and excellent stabilization.

These New Balance 847v4 shoes have been a pleasant reward for me. I have painful vericose veins in my legs and working 12 hour night shifts have been a challenge to find shoes that are supportive and comfortable. I have tried many, many different shoes from $50.00 inexpensive to $250.00+ supposed super shoes to no avail. Most shoes would leave my feet and legs in so much pain at the end of my shift. Finally, I have found a pair of shoes that work for me! I bought a wide shoe and went up half of my usual size and his seems to help the foot pain medium width caused.

I wear 8½ in New Balance styles 840 and 1530. The size 9 in style 847v is still too short. NB has shortened and rounded the toe box. Hoping the 9½ will fit. Otherwise, the shoe is comfortable, good support and padding is good.

I ordered these with the 840, since I couldn't decide online, but I decided to keep both pair, both fit well and were comfortable testing with inside walking, again, I do wish New Balance would not use the mesh and go back to material in the 990 series, these provide excellent support for my wide, bunion feet and I do wear constantly. The tongue does slide, but fixed after a search on the internet and it was a quick fix.

Love this shoe! Extremely comfy and imho pretty cute. I noted runs small bc I always have to go up a full size with New Balance. So I got my usual NB size (9), but all my other shoes are 8.
