The quality of the material is not what it used to be. It feels more like "pleather" than real leather like my last pair is (same model). The tongue is much narrower so if you have wide feet it does not fill the space when you tie your shoe and you can see your socks underneath. The insert has no support and so you have to use a 3rd party insert with them. And when you do, it has hardly any room at all for your feet and stretches it out even further making the tongue not fill the space even more. All in all not what it used to be.

the fit and size was on the money for my son. they have a good arch support for kids with flatfeet.

The width of the tongue of the show was not wide enough, it would roll as you put the shoe on. It was un-comfortable.

We had the same problem with the tongue of the shoe being too small, similar to another review. My son dose not have wide feet but his socks would show. Seemed like the tongue was made wrong.

The tongue on this shoe has absolutely no padding. So you feel the laces on the top of you foot. All of the previous New Balances I purchased had padded tongues. The base of the shoe is nice and firm which I was looking for.

I wear them every day, except for in the snow!

My 9 year old son required white sneakers as part of his gym uniform. He loves them! They are stylish and comfortable.

My boys needed for uniform all black and these were nondescript and comfortable and dress up and down

My little one has wide feet, so these were too narrow for us:(

Grandson is using these shoes as school shoes. School starts August 10, so he hasn’t worn them yet.

I buy shoes for my son at this site because his size is impossible to find locally.

I have what my wife calls hobbit feet. Almost square. Finding shoes that fit me is a nightmare. These New Balance shoes from Zappo's fit me great, they're comfortable abd I'm ordering another pair right now. Thanks!

Product was fine but grandsons feet grew more than expected so had to return the shoes.

Son needed white shoes for school. Great fit and he says they're comfortable.

Comfortable fit!

The size 6 I purchased fits fine; although, I wear a size 5.5-when I ordered that size, they were too small. The material feels nice and the tennis are comfortable!

Nice shoe and a good value.

These are great. When using the Zappos size chart and measuring the length of the foot, these seem to run about a half size small. But 3.5 in a couple other brands also seems to be perfect, so maybe the Zappos chart is a little off in this range.
