I have had a long and difficult recovery from ankle surgery. Needed a shoe with very good lateral stability while my Peronial Tendons healed. Was shopping for another brand, but my size was unavailable; so I tried these Salewa shoes. Was very pleasantly surprised at how stable they were and how well they fit me. Bought them immediately, two pairs: The non GTX and the GTX. Bought the GTX in a dark colorway, to use as my everyday shoes. Next time I am in the market, I will definitely be looking at Salewa's line.
