I purchased this gaiter over the summer ,so I haven't worn it in the cold yet. My overall opinion of this product was WOW can't wait to wear! A really well made product going the extra mile...I can see wearing this with sweatshirts in the fall when the air is cold. I love the buffalo plaid but in any color this is a product anyone who lives where there is snowy, or cold should own one. I will mention I purchased two different gators from Columbia in the same order,This one is more bulky than the other.

My husband wanted something warm to protect his neck when cycle commuting that could be adjusted to serve as a face barrier if needed. This gaiter fit the bill - a cheerful red color that pops against traditionally dark colored coats.

I've tried it on. It fits just right. I like the way it looks. The problem is that it hasn't gotten cold enough here to wear it yet. Consequently, I can't tell you whether it's good for it's intended purpose; which is, after all, the bottom line.

Almost over qualified for this task. This gaiter is very comfortable to put on, wear, and adjust. In 20 weather, I found myself fanning it so that the area of coverage would cool down some. Very effective, light, yet a bit bulky, but it could be because it is brand new.

heavyweight gaiter, a little bulky but does a great job keeping you warm

A little long on the front so it tends to rise higher than intended, at first the inside is cold until you warm it up with your own body heat. I intend to wear snowboarding and have yet to do so ( waiting for snow) I think the cinch is a great feature, I love the pattern and colors. Over all a good feel.

This absolutely will keep you warm. Its comfortable and I even ended up getting TOO warm on a glacier walk and had to take it off.

Looks as pictured online. Unfortunately, my fault, I didn't notice that it had the metallic liner, I don't really need that, so it would be too hot for me to wear, however if you need that much neck warmth, go for it. It could be somewhat bigger, it basically just fit over my head, so I don't recommend for anyone that's not of average size (128 lbs). I could see it having the adjustable string if it ran larger. It is a longer length gaiter than I normally wear or need also.

I love the color, looks exactly like picture. Wish the string area was more stretchy type like stretchy joggers so its easier to allow movement but good for what i need

First off let me say this gaiter is Warm! And Thick! Your neck will not be cold with this on. In saying that I am a small build woman 5'1' and feels a bit too bulky and thick on my neck But I have worn it - I prefer the small version with Omni heat

Bought thinking the elastic would make it stretch more for big heads but it is the same size as the thin bugaboo neck gaiter. You will struggle to get it on as it does not give any stretch (think of a turtle neck shirt). The fleece neck gaiter with no omni heat and no cord is wider and putting it on was easy.

I love my omni heat jacket which led me to purchase the omni heat gaiter. It is very warm and does not disappoint! Used it to ski in 0 degree weather and kept me warm. However, after just the first wear the draw string snapped which is why I gave it 3 stars. Other than that, would recommend.

Nice patter but fit is very tight that I find this uncomfortable. Gator kinda sit into your face. seems warm enough but not worth it for fit.

Basically this gaiter fits a bit too tight and is slightly difficult to get on. Feels a bit tight and would be more comfortable if there was an elastic/stretch around the top.
