as a nyc school custodial worker I have to report to work during snowstorms. We've had about 3 snowstorms so far some worse than da other and these boots were put to the test!!! I would go out with the snow blower for 2 or 3 hrs at a time and my feet were warm and DRY!!!! And very comfortable, like a sneaker boot. Thank you Columbia!!!

These winter boots are great in the snow and ice. I do snow removal and my feet stay warm and boot doesnt get too wet.

I bought these boots right before this year's big snow, and I'm very happy with them. I've worn them almost every day for about two weeks - my feet stay dry and warm. They have good traction, and they're narrow enough to fit under my jeans without looking bulky or weird. Stylish enough for the city, but I'll take them for apres-ski comfort as well

After arrival my initial thought was that the boots were too light and the material not sturdy. I took them out over the weekend on a hilly 6-mile hike through snow, ice as well as mud and they worked well: no rubbing, kept my feet almost too warm while hiking (only wore thin socks), completely waterproof, they shed mud surprisingly well and they even managed to keep my feet warm when I took a break and ate lunch in the snow.

I bought this a couple of months ago and I couldn't be more pleased. I needed a boot to keep my feet warm but not feel like I'm walking around carrying bricks on my feet. These boots are so light, yet so warm. They are very comfortable also.

Extremely comfortable and warm. I wear a 15 (thank you Columbia for making products for tall people) and they almost pass for high-top shoes. 9/10

These are lightweight and fashionable! They keep your feet super warm. You can wear thick or think socks with them. These are called snow boots and they work great in the snow. But, you can also comfortably wear them all day just in cold weather. I've never had such versatile snow boots. Plus you can hike in them! Just get them! Don't think twice! Insulation is great and the water proofing really works. I love how these have all the benefits of a traditional snow boot but they are cute and lightweight.

I watched a few reviews about these on YouTube and purchasers talked about how light they are. I have to agree they are extremely light. I find them to be very comfortable, however I feel they are less comfortable when completely tied. I bought these for our current ski trip, and so far they are living up to expectations. The temperature has been in the teens, but my feet have not gotten cold or wet. I bought this specific style because I wanted something I could also wear out in the mud or more rainy weather, but I have t had a chance to test out their waterproof properties in those conditions yet.

I've had my pair of Fairbanks for just about 2 1/2 years, and my feet have never gotten cold in them. I enjoy ice fishing and winter camping and have never needed toe warmers, I highly recommend these boots. Super warm, waterproof, and very comfortable. No complaints at all here! I've included a picture that I just took to show wear and tear. Or lack of wear and tear I should say. They're dirty and used but still warm and waterproof. Once again, highly recommend.

I've always felt special because I'm always the first dude out of my group of friends to complain about frozen toes and feet. After doing my research, I didn't even know this brand made footwear. Further, I didn't know they made boots with the omni heat liner found on some of their jackets. The reviews were solid, so I figured I'd give them a whorl. I. Was. Not. Disappointed. My feet stayed warm and dry. These revolutionized my winter outdoor activity life tremendously.

I bought my first pair and loved them so much that I bought a second pair in a different color. The most comfortable and warmer boots I've ever owned!

These boots deliver exactly as described. Warm, lightweight, comfortable and dry. I especially like the light weight and flexible upper and flat tread with no bulky heel. I found the tread to offer plenty of grip in wet and snowy conditions. The top of the boot hits lower on the leg and can allow water, snow or debris to get in. Easily solved with gaiters.

Bought these a couple months back as a light alternative to a heavy duty ankle boot. In the PNW so we get rain, snow, wet, and cold AF for about 4 month. These have so far kept my feet very warm and comfy. No real complaints, I would suggest bolstering with some scotch spray for full on waterproofing as they will seep a bit over time if in prolonged wet exposure. Very comfy, very light, very warm. Actually just ordered the "503" shoe style yesterday because of how much I like these. Thanks!

Great Boots super comfy!! They are sized a little small though

I bought these for winter camping because they are supposed to be waterproof and warm. So far I've been camping in the snow for multiple days, dug my truck out of the snow and hiking in multiple feet of snow and freezing weather and they are amazing. They have been completely waterproof and are so comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone!

This boots are great. Sizing was perfect. Kept feet nice and warm for 3 plus hours outside in 20* weather. I would not step in deep snow or puddles with these but they are great for light rain or shallow snow.

Great shoe, would buy again. When I bought them I thought they were black and green so surprised when they were a navy that's a mess up on my end. But I actually really dig the color combo with these shoes. They fit perfect, look good and are durable
