So sad. Rieker has been my go to boot brand for years, they are the only boot I could find that fit my skinny calf. These are not Rieker quality! (The box says Remonte??) They have a foam sole instead of rubber, they are a half size smaller than usual, felt and look cheap (And I have the original version of this boot which is my favorite!) So disappointed! Returning:(

I kept these because the style is flattering for flat boots, not clompy at all. I wore them out of the box for three hours, no blisters. They are snug on the top of the foot but comfortable at the bunion. The place where the foot is sewed to the shaft is stiff and I felt it after a couple hours. Rieker often runs narrow for me, but these fit true to size, I wear a 9 and the 40 was a fit, the 41 too long. Arch support is pretty minimal, removable insole to put in better ones. Two cons: These are 'Remonte' brand, not Rieker, based on the materials, I assume is a less expensive diffusion line from Rieker. They are made well and I'm fairly sure are leather, but the back panel is a stretch plastic which looks cheap, wrinkles around the ankles, and won't likely wear well/be repairable. I've looked for a flattering flat boot for long enough to accept the compromise, at least they aren't totally plastic! But not quite Rieker.

The website advertises these boots as Rieker boots but they are NOT Rieker boots. They say Remonte on the boots and on the box. They are not of the quality I have come to expect from Rieker boots. They also run small and have very limited support. Very disappointed. Returning immediately.

These are great boots - I've got two pair in case they discontinue the style. PERFECT for travel. You can roll the upper around the footbed and they take as much room as a flat in your suitcase. You can get away with wearing them with skirts, dresses - they are a little low (covering your calf, not quite to your knee) but comfortable. I use them as a "dress" boot so I can wear a real pair of shoes, add these to my suitcase. Travel with a carry-on for two weeks!

The boot was shorter than other Rieker products I have owned. However, the most disappointing thing was that the back panel was not leather. This made for a very unappealing look.

I love these boots! The leather is so soft; the boots look like they came from the finest European shop. The best part is that they are comfortable; they have narrow ankles and calves. It's next to impossible to find these features in a shoe today. The boots have a modern look to them because of the soles, otherwise they are a classic that will never go out of style.

I love this boot. It is the second pair I bought. They improved the soul and support from the original pair. However, I feel the leather was different and maybe a little more interesting in the original pair. However, overall, these boots are fantastic for travel because they go well with pants skirts and dresses and I can walk 15 miles in them. People have asked me where I got these and have bought them and have bought a pair for themselves after seeing me wear them. And later they rave about how great they are. These are really a great pair of boots for a lot of reasons. I would love it if they were 100% leather. The back is a kind of plastic which detracts a little

This is my second time buying these and I adore them. They're the only boots I've EVER found that fit my "narrow" / "athletic" calves, so I'm delighted that 2 years later when the first pair (which I wore CONSTANTLY) is fading/the zipper is getting dubious, they still exist. I never do this but I ended up getting both the black (again) and the brown and they're all I need. They pretty much have everything I want in a boot: comfortable, no pointy/narrow toe but rather wide and spacious for my dancing toes which do not like to be compressed, can add my own insole, fit my calf as I said, are moderately waterproof (I live in a moist climate) and keep me dry/warm enough, and oh did I mention there is a substantive sole but no heel, hallelujah! And I've come to think they look rather good, and enjoy that they dress up or down easily. It would be great if they came in leather rather than plastic, and could be repaired at the cobblers, for many reasons, the environmental sustainability not being the least thereof.

I have silly particular feet and have to be able to use my superfeet insoles in nearly every pair. The Rieker insole comes out and accommodates my insoles. Not a ton of cushion in these but still comfortable for me. They are lightweight and great for travel. I wanted something versatile as my travels often take me through different climates and functions all at once. These fit the bill! As another reviewer says, the shaft can wrap around the footbed for easier packing. I normally don’t wear long boots when I fly because my feet get too hot — not so in these. I’m currently walking through snow in the Rockies with these — not warm but my feet stayed dry too. They don’t come all the way to the knee, which I like. The top edge of the shaft sits about 7 inches below my knee cap. The tread gives good traction but the boot still looks a bit dressy rather than hiking boot. I wear a 10; ordered the 41 and 42; keeping the 42 — it works best with my insoles. If you want a cute, comfortable, versatile boot — I highly recommend!

I had a pair of Reikers that I wore to their death. They were so comfortable. I am so sad that I could not even get these on my foot. They are very narrow and small in the ankle area.

These boots are cute, but made for someone with long, narrow feet and slender calves. As a hobbit, I have neither, so unfortunately can't fit into these.

These boots are so comfortable and lightweight. I walk all day at work and they feel great even by the end of the day. I like the snug fit around my calves. My third pair!

These boots are so nice that these are my second pair. I literally wore my first boots out. These are a tad shorter than the other pair and I thought that may be a problem but I love them. Can be worn with leggings, jeans or skirts.

Bought these to replace the Liv 98 I bought back in 2011. These boots fit my size 10/42 like a glove. What it lacks in style you get in comfort and fit. The style is simplistic and basic. I'm comparing it to the previous version I bought many years ago that had a cool triple buckle detail on the side. My husband and I called them my "Star Wars" boots. the height of the boot is very comfortable (top of calf) and looks really cool. Fits my normal sized calves very well.

These run VERY VERY small and narrow. I normally easily fit into a 90 (or 40) in almost any brand. These looked like 7s when I took them out of the box and no way fit. I have remonte tennis shoes in a 40 that fit perfect. On another note they are really cute so I am bummed they don't fit. They also dont fit my calf and I have normal size calves.

It's hard for me to assess these boots. I had to return them because I couldn't zip them up. Despite the stretch material in the calf, these boots are not workable for muscular legs. So bummed!

Very soft leather. Nice fit. Returning because I needed TALL boots--these are about 3-4 inches shorter than other boots in my closet and end just above 1/2 way up my calf.

I like that they have no heel but didn't realize that they are short, hitting mid-calf rather than coming up closer to my knee. I'm returning them for that reason. They also felt snug in the toes and heel, not sure if that would loosen up if I wore them a bit. I have other Rieker boots and shoes that I love but sadly won't be adding these to my collection.

These boots are very comfortable and stylish. Unfortunately, I couldn’t zip them all the way up on my 16’ wide calves. The boot does not have stretch, as I had hoped. I would purchase them if they made a wide calf size option.

My left foot is slightly larger than the right and this boot was too tight. It is made of a stretchy synthetic which I just don't like, but the style and workmanship is excellent.

Felt very cheap. Though I loved the fit.
