This is probably the most comfortable jacket I've ever owned. It has good ventilation for those strenuous hikes in 35-60 degree range. For just sitting around I wouldn't wear this under 50 degrees. These recommendations are based on wearing a light base layer underneath. Sizing chart isn't accurate in my opinion. I'm 42" chest, 5'10", 170 lbs and size chart recommended a medium. I ended up buying a large. The medium was too tight with restricted arm mobility and this was with just a t-shirt under the jacket.

Its perfect for cold temp running. It also works as a base layer under a shell jacket for winter. Its best feature are the soft pockets. All around versatile jacket.

I bought this jacket as a Christmas Gift for my husband and all I could say is just it's an amazing jacket that you can use every single day in Vancouver weather. You can wear it alone or as a middle layer depending on the crazy and changing weather here. My husband loves it and we can guarantee that the quality of Arc'teryx products are superb.

I am so happy I bought this jacket, it is the absolute best jacket for this in between season, a great piece to wear as one season ends and another begins. Very comfortable, cozy and it fits really well ! I really like the features it has such as the side toggles that allow you to cinch in the waist for an even better fit ! I highly recommend this jacket, you can't go wrong!

I wear this jacket just about everywhere in any conditions where it's cool to cold. As a stand-alone, it covers a huge temperature range comfortably. As a layering piece, it slips beneath a shell without bulk. The hood is stretchy and can go over most climbing helmets and caps. I own two of these jackets, my oldest is an original, gen-1 and it's still probably the best jacket in my closet.

Warm enough to be a standalone but not that warn to be worn at 10 Celsius over either. Breathable, so you don't keep all the humidity in the coat, I've done small hikes of 10k with it an I don't want another jacket/coat.

Love this! Go to mid layer. Wear it all the time. Packs small. Nice and warm.

I've worn this jacket most of the more mild days of this winter and am in love! It's comfortable, stylish, and great for cool days!

I bought this jacket in Nov 2020 & have worn it almost everyday since. On very cold or windy winter days (Quebec winters can be brutal) I wore it under my Zeta AR with a baselayer & was toasty warm. During winter hikes I wore this with a merino baselayer & never got cold. I do run hot though. Bought one for my husband & he loves it too.

I bought this jacket a few months back and I do not take it off. It's very warm for how lightweight it is and extremely comfortable. I have a bunch of other Arc'teryx gear but this is definitely my go to.

Works as an isolator or stand alone... I use mine for ski in dry and mild snow, drys quick and extremely lightweight and breathable as the shell only comes out in heavy snow and high winds ... also the helmet hood is perfect

Great all around jacket. Good for around town, around the camp site or on the hike into my favorite trout stream. Packs up small enough to fit in my sling pack and still very warm.

I have had my jacket for a few months now and it is my go to for everything except rain. It is the perfect weight. Hot or cold I can keep it on all time and my body and jacket regulate. It is super lightweight and packable. Amazing jacket. I don't wear any other jackets I own. This is it.

I bought this 3 months ago and I am very happy that I took the leap. The Atom is incredibly comfortable, feeling very soft to the touch and yet still feels sturdy and well made. I have been able to use this a lot, multiple times a week and it has not let me down. Loving the look is also a great bonus.

My husband has always had his eye on this jacket so I purchased it for him as a gift. He was super happy to receive it. We've traveled on a few cold weather vacations and it's done a superb job keeping him warm

Since buying this jacket, I wear it all the time! It's a great mid-layer and awesome for all activities. I love the fit and the colour. The hood and all the pockets are great. Wind protection is amazing.
