Bought this Atom AR hoodie couple weeks ago and couldn't be happier. It's really comfy, warm and it keeps you dry as well! Thumbs up for this one

I bought this jacket last week and it has been perfect. Very warm and comfortable. We'll see how it performs over the next few months/years. I'm 6-2, 190 and the medium is a great fit.

Bought this a month ago. Warm, comfortable, and surprisingly water repellent for a jacket which isn't marketed as water proof. Beads better than some waterproof jackets I own.

Quality build and overall a great purchase. This jacket is warm and is definitely able to be used as a stand alone jacket. I haven't used it in crazy cold temperatures just yet, but I'm 35 F it's almost a little too warm, which is great. The materials used in the jacket also fell well made and like they will hold up to some good wear and tear. Turn only real downside is that for high output activities, you are going to need to make sure it's going to be real cold, the jacket is not going to breath as well as other choices, but for chill paces and standing around at camp, I would highly recommend this jacket

I've only heard positive reviews about this jacket and, after wearing it exclusively for the last week, can say that it lives up to the hype. The material and build are quality, and it looks stylish in any location. The fit feels just right for my 6'4" slim frame. I also own the Cerium LT in a large and this one fits way better--slightly looser with a longer torso length. I live on the Central Coast in California so I haven't been able to test it out in the rain or extra cold temps, but it's been perfect for chilly morning and evening Fall temps.

If you love your Proton or Atom LT but need something for temperatures about 20F colder, this is it. The AR has the same brilliant design as the LT but with about twice the insulation and only a tiny breathable panel at the arm pit. I compared this with the Thorium AR and for me it was no competition. The Thorium was a tiny bit warmer but I found everything else to be in favor of the Atom. If I had to complain, I'd ask for a stuff sack since this jacket can serve as a great belay parka in temperatures where something heavier isn't needed.

Worth the upgrade from an LT! as it says, it is heavyweight and super warm for layering. Missing the classic elastic on the hood like the LT however the warmth makes up for it.

I just bought my second Atom AR as I wore my first one out after several years of heavy use. I took it everywhere. The fit and styling of the jacket is impeccable. Whether I am in the city, out in the backcountry, or even ice climbing this jacket does it all. It fits perfectly under a shell for skiing, and works as an outer layer in slightly warmer conditions.

This is my second Atom AR, I fancied one in a less outdoorsy colour so opted for the Black Sapphire, which is just what I wanted for casual wear. My previous Atom AR was the 2019 model, the only difference I can see is a slightly larger hood with a couple of additional adjusters and a small brim. This is still a wonderful jacket that can be worn as a standalone over a base layer, or as a mid layer below a shell or down jacket. I am 5'7" and around 135lb I find the small to be a good fit.

Have been using this jacket for two years as my main insulation layer for search and rescue activities in the North East. Doesn't take too much space and is sufficiently warm for most conditions, especially when moving. Love the hood, the orange color and the overall quality.

I've been wearing my Atom for years and it is so comfortable and warm. I routinely wear it through the Canadian winter with only a medium fleece under it. Admittedly I do pull out my thicker winter coat when it gets closer to -25 Celsius. What I love about this jacket though is its incredible warmth is all packed into a light weight package that is perfect for backcountry hiking trips. It can also be stuffed into its own hood and pull the draw string and it makes a perfect pillow. This jacket is so good that my dad bought the same one and he to has been wearing it for years and through the backcountry.

We need an Atom SV I love my Atom AR and my Atom LT. But, we need an Atom SV. Take the AR and add a Goretex outer layer and add pit zips. Then we have the perfect back country hoody for skinning and riding down. Will also be perfect for winter fly fishing and hiking. Patagonia canceled their best all time insulated water proof mid-weight jacket: their stretch nano storm jacket (hoody). Opportunity knocks for Arcteryx!

I got this quite a few years ago, and has been my go to jacket since then, its especially great for late Autumn through to early Spring (in the UK) as a stand alone top layer, in regards to keeping you warm, and keeps your plenty warm enough too during mild winters as it is, and if you wear a jumper underneath then will keep you more then warm enough during the more colder nights too. Its still in great condition, its held up really well and its quite evident that it will last as long as you look after it. I have it in Blue, not sure if the range of colours is different back when I got it. I would assume its actual colour is Vitality, my only real gripe is that I would like the Men's and Women's range to share to share colour options, as I would be particularly interested in the colours Phantasm, Jupiter or Ambient.

3 years now and it's my go to for most activities. On really cold ski days I throw a shell over it and have never had an issue. Warmer days its great as it breaths very well. Super comfortable, versatile and I feel it fits true to size. Only issue it's time for another and I can't find one anywhere.

I bought this last fall and now having worn it through fall, winter, and the start of spring I can say I am so happy to have purchased this jacket. It is incredibly useful and you can wear it in a wide range of temperatures depending on how you layer it and for an equally wide range of activities. Great for early morning dog walks and chilly hikes. I run very cold and this keeps me comfortable when layered with a base layer underneath. It's also very light and comfortable to wear and washes well. This jacket is very versatile and I will definitely buy another one when new colours are released.

I got this jacket last fall and I've been wearing it all throughout winter (except when is below 20F) and it keeps me warm while giving me great mobility for hiking, gardening, and climbing!

I decided to get the Atom AR as I already have the Atom LT. This has become my go to winter jacket for everything. It is so comfortable, looks great and is warm. The only time I felt cold was with Temps in single digits and winds gusts over 25 mph. Even then it was a momentary chill. I absolutely recommend this jacket. The only problem I have is due to my size. A large is a little too snug and an XL is a bit big. Not a true problem, just complaint if I had to find one.
