Debated back and forth between the Therme and the Camosun. The fit of the Camosun is a bit better for my frame (5'10" 145lbs athletic build), but I preferred the subtle features of the Therme. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. I would recommend trying it on first. I typically wear size small with the majority of Arc'teryx clothing, but in this case I went with an XS. Even with that there is still room for layering.

I was having a hard time deciding between the Camosun and Therme parka. I ended up ordering them both and returning the camosun. I like the Therme because it is a much softer and quieter fabric. The Camosun is too crinkly in my opinion. The Therme is definitely longer but I find it the perfect length for me. I am 6'3". The only thing that sometimes bothers me is the large collar that can get in my face when walking around with the parka unzipped. However, I like the looks of the therme collar more than the camosun collar. Overall great, durable, and warm parka though.

Good jacket for me and also probably for you too...wear it on the icy streets or a windy mountain etc and you'll be pipin' hot no matter what.

I decided to pick this up as my previous coat, Arcteryx Sentry, was about 10 years old and too big. I really like the length, not too long and not too short. The fit perfect. Im 6'1 and 215 lbs and the large fits me perfectly. Not too bulky and looks high quality. The cuffs are a big improvement from the velcro and the chest pocket holds my I phone which is a good plus. The warmth of the coat is legit and the like the subtle logo on the sleeve. Its pretty light too. No complaints and I cant wait for more cold weather to come!

Bought the Therme and LOVED everything about the cost except for the collar. I understand why it is designed as such (to provide excellent neck coverage when zipped up) however the reality is most of the time I'd be wearing it zipped about 3/4 way up which unfortunatly leaves two "flaps" brushing up against my cheeks most of the time. Although everything else on the parka was flawless and well designed I ended up going with the Thorsen instead. The collar on the Thorsen is much easier to live with than the Therme in my opinion and I enjoy the longer lenght and additional warmth.
