I have friends who have this jacket or the AR version - had to get one! Love the feel of the material. I'm usually an XS in tops and size 0 on pants. Only issue I have with all arc'teryx jackets is I never feel they give enough chest size. I'm 34C in top and I often try both small and xs because it fits a bit tight in chest - small is too bulky in rest of fit, though, so I've always stayed with the XS. That being said, I adore this jacket, it's great under my Beta LT jacket for winter days, the cuffs on the sleeves have details in them that are great for layering and wrist mobility, and the pockets have a soft, warm liner.

This fits better and is better constructed than any of the competitive products out there. And it's trim but still doesn't make me look fat in XXL. Great layering system. I might not wear it all alone to do rough work in since the outer material is thin but it is also very light and breathable... I've been using it under a shell and can use it all season long... on the coldest days I add a fleece but most of the time just wear a lightweight performance top.

this jacket is super light yet breathable and warm. I use it as a midlayer under a shell or alone down to the low 30s. I am 6'3'', 210lbs and the large fits me perfect

Having owned a couple of Arc'teryx pieces already I had already read a lot about the Atom LT. Having tried one on in a store I love how it felt giving me lots of movement and fitting nicely. I just got mine a week or so ago and have used it on its own or as a mid-layer. On its own with a long sleeve underneath I was fine around 0c. I went skiing with a merino base layer and shell over top in -7c weather and the Atom LT as my mid-layer and I was cooking and needed all my vents open. It replaced a fleece that I used and I cannot be happier. Would highly recommend it for being such a versatile jacket. I am 6'1" 175lbs and the Medium fit me perfectly. Now that there are many different versions out such as the SV etc, I am happy that I went with the LT as the others might not breathe as well and would have been too warm.

I bought the Atom LT jacket to replace my Corvert fleece cardigan as my go to mid layer. I was looking for something a bit warmer, lighter and easier to pack. I'm not certain if the Atom LT is warmer than the fleece or not. I think it is but not significantly. One area where the Atom LT definitely wins is the versatility. This jacket is far better in warm conditions than the fleece. It seems to regulate temperature very well. It also packs up to almost nothing. I've worn this jacket paired with a good merino base layer and a Beta AR jacket in conditions as cold as -20C with blowing snow. Provided I kept moving around, this combination kept me sufficiently warm. Any colder and I think one would want to look at the Atom AR instead.

I accidentally ordered the jacket instead of the hoody and though I was super bummed in the beginning, I'm glad I made the mistake (I have a million hoodies anyways!). This jacket is perfect - it's super light and warm and would be a perfect layering piece under a ski jacket. I bought the jacket late in the ski season though and only wore it as a casual jacket to work and a couple times hiking about. It is water resistant but not waterproof - water beads up on the surface and you can just brush it off! I definitely wouldn't wear this for extended periods in the rain though. I ordered a size Medium Black and it fits perfectly. The stretchy side panels make the jacket look flattering and you can move about with ease. I've convinced my dad to buy the men's version and he loves it as well!

I Ski not so much anymore but learned of your products when I was far more active as a skier. I play golf year round in the midatlantic and have been on a search for a trim fitting supple jacket with enough warmth to walk the course in most any weather. I found it in the Atom. I'm not sure you want to be know for great golf clothing but the Atom LT sure fits the bill in my mind. The construction allows me to swing without restriction, the sleeve gasket is just perfect and the pockets are nicely put as well. So, in conclusion, its bag on back hands in pockets and away we go. Thank You

This is my go-to-jacket for everything. It works s a perfect layer for skiing in most of situation for me. It is warm enough to keep skiing for down hill and breathable enough to hike up a little hill for ski touring. I also use this jacket as casual wear and any out door related activities. I worn this as my belay jacket for a chilly day of climbing and camping; this jacket kept me warm as it is highly water and wind resistant. It is an awesome jacket for everything I do!

Used extensively on a recent alpine trek. Love the feel of the material and its light weight, but I was really surprised at the performance. It's incredibly warm. Overall, I'm impressed and will look at other Arc' Teryx products as a result.

Iv taken this jacket hunting, fishing, and on army training, it has always been awesome. Very warm and very comfy. I sometimes wear it as a summer night jacket by itself or layer it with a pac-lite shell when ita a little colder.

I love this jacket. My husband got one and he loves his so much he got me one for Christmas. I use it as a stand alone lightweight jacket and as a mid layer for skiing in cold temperatures. It moves with you like no other. Love the inside pocket for skiing too. Wish that the ladies model had the stylish color accents that the men's model does. The men's is much better looking IMHO . Fits well too - a big deal for thinner women in the US who cannot find clothing.

Great breathability, warm on it's own without wind, beads light precip for a short period if you're working hard. I have worn for snowshoeing, xc skiing on its own and it is great for keeping you warm while you are moving. Wore it snowshoeing in -5C with snow for three hours, water beaded nicely for half the trip, but then began to get a bit saturated. That being said, it still kept me completely warm when moving with only a light base layer. I can wear it around town and with only a t-shirt underneath and I start feeling cool around -10C. With a couple layers tho I find it good below that IF there's no wind. The side panels are built for breathability, not wind protection I believe, so if it's windy and cold, put on a shell like you would with most other layering pieces! I use this over the Atom SV 90% of the time for all but the coldest days and it can be worn for spring and fall as well.

I love the Atom Lt. It fits me perfectly. I am particularly impressed with the cuffs because my gloves fit nicely over them. I use this jacket as a stand alone jacket and as a layer under my barn coat when I chop wood. It moves with me. It is just right.

Wear this jacket for trail running. It is very warm without over heating and crazy light. Ran a trail race in Feb. and had only a long sleeve tech shirt on beneath it. The temp. at the start of the race was 7 degrees F. The exterior was icy due to the great breathability but I was toasty warm inside. My favorite piece when the mercury drops. Arc quality as usual.

This jacket is really warm and so light weight and compact, I chose this over a down jacket and I was so astonished by the results, The build quality was outstanding (typical Arc'teryx) and the amount of heat that could could be generated was very surprising for a jacket of that size. I wear this all the time and is one of my favourite pieces of clothing! the pockets are really warm and the internal one is very handy. Overall a fantastic jacket

This is my favourite piece of clothing I own. Why? I always want to wear this jacket when I go outside. It feels so comfy: nice and warm, very light and easy to put on and off. Arc'teryx paid a lot of attention to details of which I never thought they would be important but which makes all the difference that you will notice once you have worn it for some time. Some examples: the insulation of the core loft (even if it is wet), the great front zipper (very smooth and never gets stuck), the internal lining, the breathability etc. It might look expensive compared to a regular fleece, but it is really worth the price difference. If you are not convinced: ask the sales reps in your local outdoor shop what their favourite mid layer is. Most of them will say the Arc'teryx Atom! I have both the Atom SV and LT. In contrary to some reviews on this website I don't think that the LT is warm enough for very low (sub zero ) temperatures. I live in the UK and use the SV during winter and for snow skiing in the alps (with a hard shell jacket). The LT is great for autumn and spring. Please note that the Atom LT fits a bit smaller then the Atom SV! Hence it is worth to try them on before buying.

This make a very nice lightweight baselayer under a shell, or if in the extreme conditions, a insulated shell. This one is much more of a fitted sized over the atom SV i own. Very comfortable, and the side panels allow for amazing breathability when pushing it. The slim fit allows for this jacket to be up against you, which allows for maximum heat retention which is really noticeable.

Whomever designed this jacket should get a gold star. The cuffs, side panels, fit, stitch points, etc. are all super. Haven't had an issue w/the zipper, but then, I haven't run in it yet. I am 5'10, 175lb (athletic) and the large fits me well. The shoulders are perfect (I get large in most other clothing lines). I like the extra length around the torso I get from being slightly shorter. Works great when boarding or skiing. Doesn't wind-break well at 30mph or up, but then again, isn't meant to. Would highly recommend as a base layer, or a slightly chillly fall/winter day.

This jacket is awesome! I purchased it in late January and wore it almost everyday over a t-shirt (my typical work attire) and was always toasty warm. The Power Stretch side panels made movement comfortable and never let me overheat in this year's mild Texas winter. Under a hard shell it's a great mid layer on cold, windy days. The fleece-lined hand warmer pockets felt great and perfectly held my cell and keys. I chose a medium and the fit is great; it allows some layering underneath in cooler temps. Wish there was a chafe guard at the top of the zipper, but not a deal breaker.

Bought this jacket about a month ago .. was looking for a subsitute to the common 'puffy' jackets that come out this time of year. Had bought a Arcteryx winter jacket a few years ago and was impressed with the construction/fit and quality. Was looking for a Fall/Spring jacket and came back to Arcteryx looking for a solution. Immediately landed on the Atom LT - had a great look, not the standard 'puffy ribbed' style that is so prevelant in other jackets today. Ordered it on line .. it arrived faster than promised and haven't taken off since. Cut and fit is perfect .. I am 6feet, 210lbs .. and the XL fits perfect. Large enough to fit a merino sweater underneath .. but not too big with just a tshirt. Great for walks or active exercise in colder Spring weather. Would recommed this style and jacket to anyone.

This jacket is with out a doubt, my number one go-to piece in the winter. Whether it is layering it underneath my hardshell jacket during the day on the hills, to relaxing afterwards walking around the village. The fit and level of comfort is just perfect. I also really love the Polartec fabric under the arms to allow for heat to escapes and provide a nice stretchable area to move in the jacket. Overall, the Atom LT is the greatest companion you can have that will offer you a wide range of uses and excel at all of them.

I use this jacket for cold weather cycling (30 - 50 degrees F) and it performs incredibly well. Two layers of shell (exterior and interior) to block wind, with just the right amount of insulation. Used with a long sleeved wool baselayer underneath kept me warm and dry. I would complain about how the bottom hem can't be cinched up, as it is a bit loose on me, but for cycling it's nice because I can easily lift it up and get to the pockets on the back of my jersey.

I use this jacket as a mid layer when skiing, where it performs perfectly. The jacket is very light and initially feels like it is too thin to be warm, but the Coreloft does its job. The jacket provides good breathability, and if it does get damp, dries very quickly. If you do get too hot, the jacket can be stuffed into a very small space in your pack. A consistent feature of Arcteryx clothing is the attention to sealing at the wrists, to prevent cold entering and heat escaping, and this jacket is no different I have the jacket in Blaze, which is even brighter than the image shown, and can surprise people when I take off my outer shell.
