This hoodie is absolutely brilliant. So lightweight ~ warm ~ flattering ~ comfortable ~ and so manageable that I can roll it up quite small into my bag. I am in love. I really miss the turquoise one though.. mine was stolen and I'm dying to grab another. Thanks for the excellent quality gear. Cheers, Tammara

I own 3 Atoms. an LT without a hood, an LT with a hood, and an AR. These are my go to jackets for everyday use when there is a little chill in the air. I've worn these with just a t-shirt underneath in -5C and still been comfortable. Super warm, comfortable and versatile. Love these jackets.

Love it, my go-to for Utah 3 season coat. Efficient warmth for an old guy. Cuffs are snug, a good thing, but pulling them off has resulted in unstitching of cuff seam at 2 months of use. Any suggestions other than seeing a seamstress? I'll wear it snow- shoeing in Bryce in 3 weeks and let you know, maybe under a shell as needed.

Love this jacket, like other Arcteryx clothing I own it fits like a glove. Often sizing when you get to XL is really off but the cut is appropriate for more generous proportions in larger sizes. Comfy but room for a light layer underneath. Warm without overheating me, very light to wear.

I am a layers kinda guy. I use this Atom to downhill ski, over a fleece and under a shell. It snug enough to fit under the shell, but loose enough to tale a layer or two under neath. It's now my go to for evening chill around the base camp, hike break or belaying at the crag. I wouldn't wear with more than a day-pack or under a harness. I think the shell is too delicate for that, but as a go to 3 season layer for when you stop moving, this is ideal. I loved my first one so much, I bought a second one in a different color...and OMG, who designed those cuffs. I am now officially spoiled and will judge all other jackets against the Atom.

It is 4 years now since i bought my first Atom LT hoody. I can say it the best jacket i ever had. I wear it almost every day summer or winter. On chilly summer mornings at the crag to winter ascents to 3000m+. It performes great. Only thing i would say is i dont fancy the one arm system for hood adjustment..i just need two hands and i would prefer if it was not on top of the hood but in front bacause in cold or high wind lifting arms delivers a chill if overheated. Other thing, if the zipper is not zipped all the way it opens (if running). This are just minor notices, it does not effect the point that this jacket is TOP. Like mentioned, 4 years of constant wear and there are only sings of wear on elbows and one front side shoulder probably from backpack strap. I had to buy a second jacket just to have one ready if other one needs to be washed. Im 178cm, 73kg, size M fits great.

I bought this for my wife to layer with a beta ar jacket to use on a March trip to Europe. We had tried a cerium lt to layer on a previous trip. It worked well. We could always find my wife in a crowd because of the bright green colour. My wife found that the down filler tended to clump and no amount of beating the jacket in the dryer with a tennis ball would even it out. I am pretty sure she will be happier with Atom's synthetic liner.

I love this jacket. It keeps me warm up until -9 temps (just around the city), it is so light and easily packable. It's also very thing which makes it easy to wear under my pea coat (when I need an extra layer). The hood is amazing as always. I find that it fits a bit on the smaller side although it could just be me as I am a little busty (34C). Large was way too big and medium was just a little tight (I went with a medium). I find it fits better when I'm wearing a sports bra as opposed to one with an underwire.

This was a present -- I love how light weight and warm it is. I live in a pretty temperate climate, so haven't worn this below 45 or so degrees, but it keeps me warm, it feel cozy and I really like the fit. I'm normally a small in other brands, but am a medium in this jacket. (I'm 5'2" and about 125 lbs) This jacket effectively replaced my Patagonia down sweater jacket and I like that it's so much less bulky, fits better, and equally as warm.

The best insulating jacket ever. I hope it is available always, or if not I have to buy few right away:D Jackets shape is great and it wont get dirty very easy. If it rains you dont get wet very easy. It is also breathable. Only minus is that fleece inside the jacket might get pilled, that is the only thing I would change if I were manufacturer. My jacket is 10 months old, very good shape still.

I bought the Atom LT hoody for a trip to trek in Langtang in northern Nepal. I really liked the colour in Tui (dark blue) with a lighter colour petrol blue lining and contrast piping around the hood. I'm an average medium size 40 inch chest and the fit is fine and large enough to cope with some reasonably thick fleecy type layers underneath and easy to throw a waterproof shell on top. First impression before my trip was one of superb comfort and cosyness mainly down to the soft taffeta sleeping bag like lining and stretchy side panels. On trek the Atom LT hoody proved completely indispensable, keeping me warm at night in the unheated lodges and it was always the first thing I threw on when climbing out of my sleeping bag in the cold mornings. I would wear the Atom LT in the morning until I was warmed up by either activity or the morning sun, then found I could easily stuff or throw it into my backpack as it scrunched up small and felt like it weighed next to nothing. If I suddenly became cold on cresting a ridge in the wind I would quickly put the jacket on and snuggle into the immediate warmth it gave me with its windproof outer layer. The zip works well as do the various volume adjusters at the hood and waist. It's a great bonus to have 2 reasonably generous hand warmer pockets and so useful to have a securely zipped internal chest pocket for a wallet and phone. I should mention the stretchy sleeve cuffs that are not too tight and very comfortable and at the same time prevent cold draughts creeping up the arms. The stretchy side panels in the jacket allow excess heat to vent but seem to keep things at a good temperature and you can walk hard without getting too sweaty or uncomfortably hot. After a few weeks of use in Nepal I simply shook off the accumulated dust and sponged the jacket down a little and it still looks like new and doesn't smell at all. I now wear it to walk my dog and when it rains it works perfectly paired with my Arcteryx Beta AR as a waterproof shell on top. Well done Arcteryx your stuff is perfectly fit for purpose.

I have a few of these jackets now. They are incredibly lightweight but sturdy and fantastic for travelling. Fits easily in a backpack for long hikes. I use this with a vest in cooler weather. I definitely would recommend it!

I just want to wear it all the time. I wear it indoors because I love it so much and people ask me, "Are you going somewhere?" "Why don't you take off your jacket?" To which I reply, "It's a hoody, and I'm more comfortable wearing it than I am otherwise."

it is a very comfortable jacket and surprisingly warm, my wife had one and said it was probably the best jacket she owned and wanted me to try it on, I find it very comfortable to wear and warm enough for weather in western Canada where we live in the mountains

I love this jacket, it's great for spring, summer nights camping, fall and most of winter so it gets more use than any other. The jacket fits true to size (I'm 6'3, 192 and a large) and I like the hood.

Can't recommend this jacket highly enough. It's a perfect mid-layer for skiing, breathable enough to wear all day on a spring backpacking trip in the desert, and comfortable enough to throw on to walk my dog or run errands. I wish I purchased two- I will most likely weep like a toddler who knocked her mac and cheese onto the ground when this thing gives out. BUT I've had this jacket for just a few months shy of 3 years now and it shows very few signs of wear: things are looking up! It's an expensive jacket but if it keeps holding up like it has been, more than worth the investment. More bonus features: it packs up really small AND is flattering; this jacket is the happiest medium between a boxy men's fit and an overly "curvy" and tight women's fit (this is a subjective evaluation of course-- everyone's body is different!). I love this jacket. 11/10.
