I ordered this jacket online. Delivery was fast and painless. The jacket fit's perfectly and is extremely well made. I'm sure it will provide many hours of comfortable/reliable wear outdoors.

I have just returned from a Winter mountaineering course in the Scottish Highlands: heavy snow, and torrential rain on the low ground. This jacket performed brilliantly throughout heavy exertion activities in some truly horrible conditions. The construction is excellent, and cut well to allow layering without being too baggy. It is simple and uncluttered. I really liked the little details: zippers are easy to grab and operate when you're in precarious positions. The Velcro cuffs are the best I've ever tried, again they are easy to grip with gloves hands, and enough space to accommodate your gloves and create a good seal without riding up when your arm is extended. Hood is quick to get over a helmet with very good adjustment.

I'm ready for swedish winter. This keeps me protected with a well chosen middle layer. I get compliments for the looks from friends and another people i met, which is a bonus. Yes, you can find cheaper gear, but this is quality in every detail

This is my go to Jacket when the weather goes awry. Highly reliable and no issues whatsoever when I layered in my other jackets!

Bought this jacket as a back up to my Beta SV in Kingfisher. The build quality and attention to detail that Arc'teryx is known for is throughout. I LOVE this new colour they came out with this year too.

I just got this jacket a month ago and have since ran it through the ringer. For the weight, i have never had a jacket that's even in the league of this one. The chest access pockets grew on me for storing items I need to get to quickly when I'm wearing a pack.

I bought this jacket last summer because I needed something that would hold up well to coastal storms. It's insanely water proof and my go-to jacket for wet weather. I've worn it hiking, fishing, boating, backpacking and for casual walks and it's always kept me dry!

For many years I've always wanted to have the the best and I've gotten older and able to entertain this price point, I feel I was deserving of the best of the best in terms of high quality outerwear The old motto your pay for what get rings true when you purchase Arctyrex! I bought this jacket, the comparable pants and a bib. I couldn't be happier with the products. Nothing is ever spot on perfect b/c we are all different but they do what they say will do in the performance I need being a storm boarder/skier. I wouldn't want any other outerwear to protect me from the element and that where I look to be in. If you're just a resort person you will never go wrong with these products. There's always a way to experience the best, just keep looking for them all year and not just when you it's time for your trip. Just be ready for go time!

I bought this jacket two years ago and it has been great in keeping me dry. I then bought another one last year for my son as his birthday present.

I love this jacket but ... so does everybody in the family! Another wee pocket for keys in the back would be nice but I'm being picky. Good job!

In early spring, high up on Mt. Baker, winds were gusting 60mph and my face was getting stung with snow and ice. I didn't feel a thing on my upper body. The Alpha AR lived up to its reputation and completely cut through the high winds. I couldn't be happier with its performance. It's a total game changer in the mountains. Also, it's super light and the cut makes for a streamline fit.

Love this jacket!!! As an owner of past Arc'teryx jackets through the years from 2001, also currently a recent Alpha SV, this Jacket is perfect for all round activities. Not too heavy, not too light it's perfect for any situation and will protect you if heavy rain or wet conditions roll in. This jacket shares many updated features as the SV including similar pocket layout, and thinner seam tape in some areas to cut down the weight. I was originally considering a LT or SL lighter jacket, but still wanted a jacket that could hold up to harsher conditions. Hence I chose the AR All Round, Gore-Tex Pro. When I first pulled this jacket out to wear, it was raining hard and we were still persistent to go fish. My friends all noticed water beading and were impressed. Super happy with my choice and purchase and look forward to using this for many many years. The Tatsu color is a nice dark subdued olive green with touch of dark brown. Perfect to blend in outdoors.

I purchased this Jacket from the Outlet section and have found it to be an excellent product. I also purchased an Alpha SV, and noted the Alpha AR is very similar. The AR is slightly lighter and better suited to less cool temperatures.

Had this jacket for over 7 years. Been in the rain for almost six hours during hike and this jacket will keep you dry. Very light and packable. Jacket performance and durability was consistent as long as you regularly wash and apply DWR and this jacket will last a long time

Bought this before Xmas for several ski trips which were all cancelled but I'm very impressed with the quality of the jacket, materials, stitching, you name it, it's a very well made shell. Fits a bit larger but that is to accommodate layers I guess. Arms are a bit in the long side but overall I'm really pleased with the jacket and can't wait to use it properly.

I bought the jacket on whim for an ice climbing trip this winter. I am very happy I did. The jacket out performed my expectations. It is so breathable! Pit zips easy to access when harnessed in and easy access pockets so grabbing a snack while taking a break mid pitch was easy.
