these are the perfect 90s throwback shoe - be prepared to deal with all the compliments. but also these shoes are a bit tricky going down hill at a clip (your foot might slip)

These shoes are stylish and comfortable. I gave 4 starts only because they run about a half size too small and so I had to return them. I would reorder, but the event for which I purchased them has passed and, while I hate to say it, summer season is drawing to a close.

Super cute shoe great if your fashion sense/ aesthetic is very 90s vintage.

These shoes are very cute, they have the perfect 90s/2000s vibe that is super in right now, and the price is great on Zappos! I couldn't resist. They are so well-made and well worth the money. I am glad that I read the reviews because these shoes do run small—I normally wear a 9 and got a 10, which I would recommend doing especially if you are between sizes! I will say that the shoes can be pretty slippery since the soles have little traction, which kind of sucks, but on pavement, concrete, carpet, etc. they are fine. The thickness of the platform is super cute but also a bit heavy because of the material but I think I'll get used to it. If you are nervous about things like this I would say go with a different shoe. Overall I love these and they have the perfect 2000s vibe for summer.

Even though the shoes seemed attractive to look at, when I put them on they looked really big and clunky on me. I often wear Steve Madden slides so I was surprised these seemed so much wider. They just weren't flattering.

I wear a size 9 but have a very narrow foot. I loved the look of these shoes but my feet slide all the way through with my toes hanging off an inch or more at the end. Begging any shoe company to make a sandal for women with narrow feet. I’ve tried all kinds of inserts but nothing sticks or works well. Wish there would have worked.

I wanted to like this. It just isn't cute like the 90's version. The elastic top was super tight. My foot is a bit wide in the toe area, but it is very slim and boney. These were uncomfortably tight and my foot wouldn't slide down into the shoe like it should. I am returning.

I always have a problem with shoes that come in whole sizes only; do I go up half a size or down half a size? In this case, I ordered a 7 based on reviews (I wear a 6.5) and when they arrived, I thought somebody had sent me a size 8. They were huge and clunky on me, so back they went right away. It's a cute shoe, but I don't think it's going to fit me. I tired a 6 on in a store and my heel was over the back of it. So, plain and simple, I am a 6.5 and neither a 6 nor a 7 is going to work.

I bought these to replace an old pair from another brand. They will be ok. The top is nice and flexible. I wish the footbed was a bit more sunken or textured to make your foot more steady.

I loved the shoe but my heel hangs off the back! I will have to go up a half size to make it work.

This shoe was comfortable and fit well the first two times I wore them, then they felt like they had stretched out and my feet kept slipping out of them. I no longer wear them because I am afraid to twist my ankle.

Fit was AWFUL.

They run very small in length. Order a size up I had to return them.

At first they seemed perfect. After walking the length of the house, my feet slid forward so that my toes were hanging off by an inch. Very cute but absolutely unwearable

These are so cute but way too slick on the bottom. I can't walk across tile or hardwood floors because there is absolutely no traction. Sadly, I have to return them.

I have been wearing this steve madden slide since 1996. Hard to believe but when a shoe fits you buy every style and color you can. I have tried to purchase this shoe several times over the last few years. It is not made the same. Its not sturdy its not true to size and its loose. Its really disappointing. I have been a 7-71/2 all my adult life and this shoe I had to size up to a 9.....no...no; and to boot this show was $39.99 not its up to almost $100 on "the steven madden wedsite" ...we look all over for deals but these type of changes arent fair. If Steve Madden changed the shoe then they should inform the consumer. Especially the loyal customers. Steve Madden should market this shoe under a different name...its deceiving to anyone who truly knows the cut, style and fit of a good shoe. Im sorry to have to return it again. I will keep searching. Thank you. Joanne
