I always wished I could wear my Ugg's during Vancouver's cold wet winter, but never dared. This boot lets me do it. My feet are warm and dry, my toes can move around and I'm not destroying an expensive pair of boots.

Warm, light on the feet. Only issue was minor irritations on inside ankle surfaces, I like to wear sports socks so they leave my ankles bare. It's slowly resolving. All in all, a good purchase.

These look nice and the faux fur is soft. They were too narrow across the instep. The traction seems great because they squeek on my hardwood floors.

I bought this boot after reading the reviews that they run small and you should order up. I wear a size 11 so I couldn't size up, but wasn't worried since I wear other Merrell products in that size and they are fine. After they arrived, I was disappointed that they indeed felt very tight. In addition, the falcon color was not what I thought it was (it looked my tan in the photo but is actually light silver as shown in the tall boot picture), and the fur lining was an odd color, more tan than cream or white. I debated returning them, but needed boots so bad I kept them. After wearing them for a month, I am upgrading my rating giving the boots 4 stars and sharing some tips if you are considering ordering. What I like about the short boot is that they are easy to get on with the flexible strap. (This is not as true in the tall boot which I ordered later). They were very warm, tested well in wet conditions, which met the "waterproof" description, had good treads for walking, and eventually they stretched out to fit better. What I still did not like about the short boot was the light color that got very dirty quickly, the unmatching fur, and that the boot wasn't tight around the ankle to prevent water from coming in through the top. I decided that I would use those boots for a different purpose and order the taller boot in black. The taller boot is not allowing water to come through the top and the black color hides the dirt, however I will say they are more difficult to put on without finger tabs to help pull, and they are also tight in my normal size. The elastic band helps to allow the top of the boot to fit different size calves which is a nice feature. The fur is still more tan than white so fashionistas won't be happy.

Love my new Merrell's. So far my feet have stayed dry and warm in the Wisconsin winter and look good too. Only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 is because tab to pull on boots is small and can't pull on boot using it. The boot also runs small. I normally wear a 10 but ordered a 10.5 because original pair I returned was to small. If you like to wear thick socks I would order a full size up.

I really like my new boots, they are warm, comfortable and easy to slip on. The only downside is these boots do not provide good ankle support.

These are warm, comfy boots! I haven't had any issues with them leaking, and I've been on several winter walks through snow, so the waterproofing holds up! The only thing that is annoying is that the pull tab at the back is too small for a finger, so they are a bit more annoying to put on. I always put them on while baby wearing, so this is maybe a bigger deal for me.

Supportive which was what I was looking for. I bought a half size up which was a mistake. So far they seem pretty warm but it hasn't gotten crazy cold here yet. Easy for me to get on and off.

My 2nd pair of Merrell boots are great. A little tight to start with, but they break in quickly! Warm boots to walk the dog!

It runs small otherwise I could of giving it 5 stars

My first Merrells. Bought my usual shoe size and found them to be a tight fit. Thought I was going to have to return them but wore them around the house with a lighter weight sock to break them in. Gradually they stretched enough to now wear a medium weight sock, although still a bit snug. Next time I will order a half size larger. Can't say how waterproof or warm yet as weather has been mild.

Very comfortable and warm. Good traction on snowy roads. Pull tab on back needs to be bigger. Not back country boots and wouldn't be good for snowshoeing but good MN winter casual boots for most daily activities.

Love these boots , comfy and true to size . Light weight. I have given them five stars but there's a little seam on the side that bothers my foot a little but nothing to stop me from wearing my stylish Merrell boots.

I'm really happy with my new boots. Beautiful color, design and comfort. Surprised the 10 1/2 was actually a tad large, but its fine as I can use thicker socks, to be extra warm!!

I love the way they look and feel, however, I should have ordered a smaller size. I typically wear a 9 1/2, but these are just a bit too big.

I wear a size 10 and ordered a 10.5 so I had extra room for socks. Had to return for an 11 because they run small. Always wear a 10 in Merrill but these boots were different. Well cushioned and warm for my MN winter walks. You can always count on Merrill for comfort and durability.

I only gave this boot 4 stars because, other than trying them on, I haven't yet had a reason to wear them. They're very cute though. I will revisit this review in 2-3 months when there is snow in southern NH!! By then I should be able to attest to their warmth, durability and waterproof-ness.

I bought these boots because I liked the style and the fact that they're waterproof. I got them in black. I ordered a size 9, my usual size in Merrell boots. They fit great, with some room for medium-weight socks. I won't be wearing them until it gets cold enough, so I can't say how warm and waterproof they are yet. I would probably prefer it if the faux-fur was black, especially with the black boots. I wear more dark-colored socks in the winter, and some of the white came off on my socks and was noticeable after I tried on the boots.

This boot is small & narrow. I returned the first pair to go up 1/2 size. Wish I could have gotton a wide pair.

Not the quality I expected from Merrill - hard to get on- tiny tab that is not helpful. Comfortable but could have better support...

Warm and comfortable but snow does enter on the side.

Sent wrong color. Ordered sage, got some bluish thing. Size seems fine. Too lazy to return, but not in love with color.
