The insoles quickly came apart and slid all over the place. Had to glue them back in. Otherwise a good shoe.

They run verrrrrrry large, I had to order a whole size smaller
I'm still wearing my last pair, and they're probably 10 years old, we'll see about these...they seem not as well made

This is the first pair of Merrells that I haven't loved. I considered sending them back but sadly the box was thrown out before I could. Generally Merrells fit perfectly however this shoe fits strange around the heel

Very well made shoe. I wear light weight shoes normally and so I found them too heavy. My legs and knees ached more than usual. Did not want to pay that much for a house shoe. So I returned them. Very easy return.

I've bought many pair of these over several years. Always loved them. These ones don't feel the same. The soles feel thinner, and there's not as much depth in the lining. I'll be getting some Sherpa inserts to make them feel more cozy and warm. Until then, I got out my older pair and they feel better insulated and more comfortable.

I've worn Merrell Encore Ice for years and have gone through several pair. I opted for the leather (rather than the suede) version, but it's at least half a size bigger than all the other Encore Ice versions I've had. Very disappointed.

Oh Merrell, in this terrible awful year, why did you change the fit and styling of my beloved Encore Ice? I have bought them in multiple colors over the years, and they were simply the best fitting and most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I actually looked forward to taking them out when it got cold. I was excited to buy the grey this year and received them today. But you have broken my heart by making them significantly wider! They are comfortable but no longer fit my feet perfectly. The width results in my foot moving forward, not feeling snug and secure. The length is basically ok so I don't think a smaller size would work (not available anyway). I have not decided yet whether I'm keeping them. So my comment to you is...beware of changing things your customers love! I am really disappointed and had been considering ordering a pair in black, which I won't do.

The Encore Ice 4 seems to run slightly larger than previous ones; but are generously lined and are warm. I feel however that the quality of the shoe and support it provides is not as good as the earlier models.

I've worn the size 9 for 7 years, but this year's (fall 2020) version is very large, even with the super plush & thick Premium ABUSA Sheepskin Insole Inserts I always replace the insoles with. And, as @alda70 notes, that tag is sewn in a very uncomfortable position. If I didn't replace the insoles, I'd return them merely for that reason alone. I'll still wear the Encore Ice, but will have to go to the annoyance of returning them for a smaller size.

I want to love these clogs, but they don't provide me with enough protection. The sole is not as thick or as rigid as they used to be. I have a serious issue with my foot and need a rigid sole. Merrell, from years ago, would be my go to. Not anymore-so sorry to say.

I bought my last pair of Ice Merrell's 5 years ago. It was time for a new pair . Unfortunately, you changed the design of the new Encore Ice 4 - too bad, I decided to return them. The footpad is not as supportive.

I received these as a Christmas gift and love the style and fit. Unfortunately I can't wear them anywhere because the squeaking is SO loud. I'd return them, but I wore them outside and tried scuffing up the sole to see if it helped. It didn't.

I truly fit varying sized shoes by brand. Merrell mocs or any other brand moc are not new to me though it's been a few years since I've owned a pair. These did feel better with my own pedag insert. They seemed swimmingly large in the toe, but I wish I had such width on every shoe and I ordered a wide width. With or without a pedag insert, I felt little arch support. On a side view it looked like the climax of the arch contacted the correct part of my foot so it looked like most the length proportions were correct. In the house, I tried without any insert to identify arch support, also with provided sherpa insert and my pedag, then with all my own inserts...i.e, full thin flat comfort bed and a pedag....and it just felt like nothing was supporting my arch. It did look like the suede was worn given the scuffed toe, a liquid drip across the arch and a scrunched up, creased sherpa insert. Immediately under the sherpa, the actual footbed of the shoe seemed unfinished and the same as when I take out other shoes' footbeds and use my own...similar to after taking out a massive footbed on an Allegria. I have to wonder if a previous customer kept Merrell's significant footbed? I have never had a shoe with a sherpa interior. So I do not know if there is a removable footbed in addition to the sherpa liner? I wasn't in love with the style, just wanted a winter waterproof non-hiker and non-sneaker shoe. This was an odd mess and not so much support so I returned.

I found the 6 medium running a bit too big and therefore rather unusable unless with thick socks ..this is my third pair and i have never had the size be off. I would have liked to love them but.

I bought these because I wanted a new pair of the Encore Ice that I've been wearing for years but are now stained. I've loved my old pair; that's all I wear around the house. They provide so much support and comfort. Unfortunately, the new pair is not the same. Even though they're the same size 8 as my old pair, these are too wide, too big and don't give the same comfort and support. The inner fleece was uneven on the inside. Very very disappointed! I've given these shoes to friends and family in the past, but I would no longer recommend this product.

This is the 5th pair I've bought and I'm so disappointed. Same size every time and my toes hit the end. The sole wasn't as soft and bouncy and the were just not what they used to be. I returned them.

I have worn this shoe for years and I am so disappointed with this new pair. It is made cheaply when compared to ones I've owned previously. It Akari has a cheap thin liner that comes right out, not the thick fur that was in the entire shoe. They are loose and lightweight and fall off when walking!

the back is already wearing away after a couple of weeks - so much so it is rubbing the back of my Achilles even with thick socks, also added foot pad for better comfort and also to lift my foot up a bit thinking it would helped with the rubbing - it did not

I love my old Encore Ice shoes. I wanted to get a new pair a half size larger but unfortunately found this style to have the inconsistant size issues I've found in other styles over that last couple of years. I ordered a half size larger but the shoes I received were way too long and way too wide so they were sent back. If you look at the profile of the different colors you can see two different shapes to the shoes. I have 25 plus styles of Merrells and find it very disappointing to suddenly have so many sizing issues.

I love the look and construction - except for the fact that the arches collapsed when weight bearing. I've never had that happen with any shoe - let alone a Merrell, which I continue to consider top of the line for me.
