These boots fit all my requirements; great styling, light weight, waterproof and warm. However, the top edge of boot hits my leg in a most uncomfortable way even wearing leggings and wool crew socks. Will need to return.

I tried these on the first snow-rain mix in Detroit 11-29-2024. They are very comfortable. I am 65 and walked my dog our usual 3.5 miles. These gave me the confidence to deal with places the pavement might be slick. They are a little stiff at the top but I think they'll soften up (I was wearing cotton yoga pants under snow pants, and could have overcome them rubbing my shins by tucking in my snow pants, but I didn't). Like most Merrell boots, they have superb arch support.

I bought these to wear through the New England winter walking my dog, walking to the beach, and now just tried them in a 2 mile hike. After 3 months, I can say I’m thoroughly pleased with these. I’ve lived in Merrell Mocs—going on 3 pairs now, and was looking for the same easy on, supported walkability. These are them, perfect for rain and a couple of inches of snow. As for sizing, I have a foot on the narrow side. I sometimes wear a narrow when available. I hate a sloppy fitting shoe and am adept at upgrading insoles and using mole foam to get the fit I want. I replaced the insoles with a thicker super-feet one. And added a complete mole foam strip on the bridge of each shoe for a good fit. That did it; I now have an easy on boot with a tight-enough fit with the soppier and tread that makes for comfortable walking. I wear Merrell hikers as well. And one last thing: I like the appearance & have gotten compliments in them.

These boots are exactly what I was looking for. Slip on and off easily. Waterproof. Warm. Comfortable.
