Well, I took them to my son's wedding. I already owned a pair in brown, found them to be comfortable and good-looking, and thought glossy black would look good with the suit I was wearing and feel good for a long and busy day. Turns out I was right.

Comfortable shoe with wide toe box which accommodate my wide for-foot.

Excellent shoe - roomy toe box. Well built from quality materials. The only reason that I did not give this 5 stars is due to the weight - they are a heavy shoe but that's not a huge deal.

Comfortable, Expensive. HERE ARE SOME MORE WORDS. Since Mine weren't enough.

This is the first time I ever I am not satisfied with a Merrell purchase, I am a very big fan, but those shoes are not what I expected. Style, they look very wide from the front, like they are old men shoes. Comfort, It is this kind of leather that squeezes between my toes and my foot with every step. I started to feel like the base of my big toe is going to get a blister. Material, that is a thing that Merrell is always good at, so I will never complain about it.

Really like the style and comfort right out of the box but I would not buy these again. The sole is coming unglued in less than 6 months of light office work.

Not what I expected. The leather is thick and unyielding. Very little cushioning in the insole. Very thin sole also. Wore twice and couldn't return them. Sad! I wore them twice so I couldn't return them. Bought the Mohave Ventilator and very satisfied.

I ordered the wide width shoe. It was very wide but returned them because they were too wide for me.

I bought these for an extended trip to Cities in Europe where my trusty Moabs just wouldn't be stylish enough. They handled abuse in the Concrete Jungle just fine, suffered plenty of abuse and still look new. Be forewarned: the wide" widths are REALLY wide.

Half size too large. The sole cushion is not as comfortable as my last pair of Merrell shots. I would of needed inserts to wear these all day.

Like the look and fit is true to size. Normally a Merrell shoe is comfortable and supportive right out of the box. These are a bit thin on support, not an all day walker that's for sure. There were no reviews online at the time.

My husband loved the shoes. first pair in years that didn't have to be stretched to fit his foot width. The only thing he didnn't like was how the heel was shaped. Said he felt like he was off balance so unfortunately I had to return them.

Having bough these shoes less than a year ago, I'm less than impressed with their durability. The collar and heel tab (parts that sit behind the ankle) are not reinforced well enough to withstand slip-on wear and have sagged over time. The leather is low grade and scuffs very easily, especially around the toe box. Aside from those complaints, it's a pretty unattractive shoe. Given the price point I'm disappointed!

Great comfort and perfect fit; however, I've only had mine for 4 months and the sole has already separated from the shoe leaving a hole exposing my foot to any water.

Uncomfortable right out of the box. Gave me a blister on my heel. Wasn't impressed. Customer service claims no fault of theirs as it's not a manufacturing issue (I'm not complaining, just buyer beware that's all).

From the picture, this shoe looked like it would be good for short hikes in the woods. I wanted a shoe I could wear on semi-formal occasions but that I could also do short hikes in. The shoe is uncomfortable even walking very short distances, in a parking lot or store, for instance. Not much support. I'll have to buy a pair of shoes from another company eventually. I do have a great pair of hiking boots made by Merrell, best ones I've ever had. It seems they make good boots but not good shoes.
