Merrell has a very consistent fit over the years. The world legend (and world traveler before it) are my go to work show. they pretty much wear like iron. the elastic is what will fail before anything else and a decent cobbler can fix that. I have never blown out a seem on theses shoes. its always the soles t flash of color and the bottnn on the arch and heel that make this only a 4 instead of a 5. They were like iron (and I am rough on shoes) or I would like for something with a little more style.

Apparently they do not make the model of Merrel I typically buy so I settled for these. They are still a good, comfortable, casual shoe though.

When they arrived it looked like they skipped a step in the finishing process. They were very dull black with what looked like the black polish rubbed on but not buffed off. The brown paper wrapper was all black and when I took them out of the box my hand got black. Fortunately I have a shoe brush from my shoe shine kit that I was able to finish the job and clean them up. Other than that they fit well and are comfortable.

The 13 wide were a bit short. Will order when 14 wide becomes available. Nice looking shoe. The color espresso is amazing.

I have owned several pairs of this same item number. This year it is a slip-on instead of lace-up. In this configuration it is too loose for my foot. I have returned them.

The wide width is very very wide. After a week of stretching the regular version feels better . Expected a more comfortable shoe, this one is ok but not for lots of walking.

I'm so glad the world legends are back, although they aren't like the originals that I had in 2009 that lasted 3 years. They are comfortable and what I want and need, but I can tell they won't last as long as what I had.

I bought these shoes as a dressier version of slip on for outside, around town wear. They look nice, but these are not your typical comfortable Merrell's. They are a stripped down, unpadded sole bed. They aren't particularly good on snow and ice, and I just found out by stepping into a small puddle, they are not waterproof. I love me some Merrells, and I have probably owned 10 pairs, but these were Merrell-lite, and are less filling.

I just received my shoes earlier today and had to send them back. I own the same version of this shoe but with laces in a 9.5 Wide and they fit like a dream. I don't know if that's because they are lace up? These felt WAY too tight with fairly thin socks on. I'm not sure if I should go up to a 10? It's disappointing because these are one of a very few options for slip on shoes in a Wide size. I wish shoe brands would be more accommodating to us wide footed individuals and start making us more options to buy. There is really nothing remotely stylish or neutral for us. It always leans to geriatric looking. It's really not fair.

Been buying Merrells for more than a decade. Nice shoe, but fit and comfort not as good as the prior gen World Legend, nor are they as attractive. Just got them so hopefully the lifespan is as good.
