I owned Carlin in the past and it was great. But the new ones have synthetic footbeds and thicker tops, making them VERY hot. My feet get hot and sweaty immediately. The new Carlin is also too wide, even when the Velcro is pulled as tight as possible. Disappointed that I can no longer get closed toe Vionic slippers.

This slipper is so wide, even after tightening the top strap as much as possible, and its footbed is so slippery that the slipper comes right off my foot and then trips me. This is a disaster waiting to happen. I am sending them back immediately.

Listen to the reviews that say these are stiff and uncomfortable. I ignored the warnings and am now returning them. You might as well strap boards to your feet.
