The shoe looked great BUT it doesn't come in a wide. My husband wears a pair of Teva sandles and says they are the most comfortable so decided to try a pair of the shoes. Couldn't get anyone from customer service to answer my question (on hold -chat- for 20 minutes). Would love to get a pair of shoes like the sandles .

The shoes are nice. They are light weight and seem durable. I’ll probably put in more cushioned insoles bc I like a really soft bounce when I walk. The insoles that come in the shoe are good just not amazing. I liked hiking in them but if you hike on rocky terrain you might want a boot with a firmer outer sole. These work great for a hiking path though.

The shoe looks good. But the materials don't feel like they'll last. I'm a bit surprised that Teva would make a shoe that you wouldn't want to hike in, but here we are. If you aren't going to walk much in them, these feel like they'll be fine. I wear these to the grocery story and the office. just find myself reaching for hiking shoes instead of these when I'm doing anything more than basic walking.

They might look black but they are really the darkest brown. Not so good if you're expecting black. Returned them.

My first purchase of TEVA shoes, I've had them for a month or so. I am so far a bit disappointed, as they seem to be coming unglued around the seam of one shoe. I have only worn them about 4 or 5 times, as I like to rotate shoes. I am debating on whether to send them back, or wait to see if it gets worse.

I received the shoes and they are great. Very fashionable, provide excellent support (I have a high arch) and they don't have any pain points from what I can tell. Since I purchased them I have been on a few medium difficulty day hikes and I'm seeing the sole already separating. That's the only reason I would not buy these shoes again bc they are decently expensive. Overall great, comfortable shoes I just don't know if they will hold up to the elements.

I found a pair of Teva brand sandals, perhaps 15 years ago. At first I didn't like them but then the extreme shaped inner sole ultimately shaped my feet into the proper position and I vowed to only buy Teva shoes from then on. I've purchased two more sandals as the years went by and two Gannet Hiking boots. Now I needed to replace the Hiking boot and the Gannet is no longer offered. So I thought the Gateway would be a good substitute. BAD choice for me! Body made of canvass; not really good for hiking, especially if there are puddles on the route. And the foot support system must have changed, because my foot slips around on it as I walk, especially on incline/decline. I guess no more Teva's for me.

I was going on quality of have depended on from Teva for twenty years or more in river sandals and real hiking boots. I wanted to replace some ten+ year old Teva and Vasque walking shoes. I should have read some of the reviews for this shoe before I bought these, "the sole coming apart after a short time" as an example. I wouldn't keep these if they were $30. Simply disappointing not worth half of any price!

I was looking for a tough city sneaker that could handle light rain and this IS NOT IT. A slight drop gets them soaked. They fit okay and look neat. Horrible water resistance.

I use these shoes as a work shoe around the shop. They are comfortable enough, but they feel very thin and flimsy. I've only worn them for a couple of days, so my opinion may change. Not overly impressed so far! They are VERY tight, I normally wear size 13 and these are size 14!

Liked the design and color combination (other than white for the sides and sole). The exterior material seemed a bit plastic feeling and the shoe laces could have been a bit thicker.

They have already ripped and separated along the outside of the shoe. Wouldn’t recommend. I really expected the shoes to last longer than one year.
