I used these for a split board touring trip where I needed a lightweight, packable alternative to wearing only my split boots for the whole weekend. They were absolutely perfect with one glaring exception: there is no traction on the soles whatsoever. Completely smooth. For a booty that's clearly designed for the snow, this is a pretty big oversight. Walking around outside the hut was a tricky proposition, even with decent snow. If it had been ice they may have been unusable.
Everything else about this booty is perfect though. The Aerogel soles are amazingly warm even standing in snow for long periods. I have winter boots that are not as warm as these. It feels like magic, because they don't feel like you're wearing much more than a sock. They also pack quite well. I was able to compress them into a dry bag. The soles were the least compressible and required a bit of a fold/roll, but overall these took up very little room and do not weigh much at all. I was not able to test how they handle wetter conditions, as the snow was cold and dry, but since they are synthetic insulation I can imagine they would be good for some moisture, but probably not a full downpour.
I think I'm going to look at 3D printing some traction soles for these that I can swap on and off with some adhesive velcro.

I bought these in size Medium for my Dad who is 8.5. A Medium is supposed to fit size 6-9. They are marked Medium and they are very large. My husband wears a 10.5 and they fit him. Very disappointed, the sizing is way off. There is also no cushion to them. just a flat bottom with no give.

I was really excited for these but didn't even get to use them in the woods before they clumped up. I returned them.
