I was a little disappointed to see that the color of these boots was a little different than what’s pictured on the site. The color was a very uniform dark brown, whereas the color on the site makes it look like there are varying shades of tan. Also, the shoe laces were much darker than what is shown. The boots are very comfortable, but they just felt very clunky and “manly” for me. I wasn’t thrilled with the look, so these are being exchanged for a different pair of Uggs.

Cute boots. Typically I wear a size 9-9 1/2. Ordered a size 10 based on having tried on a pair of size 10 Ugg boots (different style) in a local department store and the size 10 fit well. These shoes fit well in length and width (My foot is slightly wide). I really wanted to like these boots (I do not own a pair of Uggs) and really want a pair. However, I did not find these comfortable. They need some padding around the top of boot where it comes up your leg. The boot was comfortable every place else except in this one area. The material is stiff, if I wore them with some thick boot socks maybe they would be more comfortable. I like thin socks so I did not think I would be ok with having to wear thick socks. Matter of fact, if not for this problem, I would wear them without socks as inside is so comfy. Others may not find this to be a problem. However, for the price, I want them to be super comfortable so I had to return. I will keep trying to find a pair of Uggs that look good and are very comfortable. The traditional style looks like boats on, not very flattering in my opinion.

I have sensitive feet and often have problems with shoes or boots cutting into my skin, so I’m surprised at how many reviews mention similar problems when I did not experience such issues at all with these boots! They’re comfortable, have outer soles that provide good grip, provide decent arch support (important for me), and have a roomy toe box (also important for me as I have bunions). They’re less clunky than typical duck boots, which is also important for me since I have big feet. One thing I will point out is that the shaped “duck” part of the boot is made of leather, not rubber, so even though it is treated to be water-repellant, it will never be as completely waterproof as a rubber boot. I wouldn’t walk through a puddle, or walk through deep snow, in these shoes. But they are fine for walking around on wet or snowy sidewalks without slipping and they keep your feet warm. I wore these for the first time yesterday and walked around outside for about two hours — normally a recipe for disaster for me — and the boots felt sturdy and my feet felt comfortable to the end. I bought the chestnut (a change from my usual black) and the colors are beautiful and exactly as pictured.

SO excited about these boots! They are easy to slip on and fully lined so you don't have to wear socks. Waterproof and perfect for walking the dogs in the rain or hiking through the snow before getting on the slopes!

These ran a bit small, in my opinion. I loved the boot, it was so darling and would have been great in the snow, slush and muck. However, the top of the boot really cut into the back of my leg. I wore them for about 5 mins around the house and it was almost unbearable. Very odd..... Anyway, sadly, they are going back....

I love these boots. The only problem I have is condition. This is the second pair of damaged boots that I have received from Zappos. And they will go back to the store! Please stop wasting my time and check the condition of your items before you ship them

Overall these seem like nice boots and the color and style is great. However, I was looking for waterproof shearling lined boots I could slip into bare footed. The shearling lining here is much thinner than traditional Uggs (both insole and shaft) and quite disappointing. I am returning since they don't provide the functionality I was looking for.
