These are really cute. No fur inside so it’s a departure from the usual fur insulated ugg original boots. These are more for style. They are comfortable and I would say true to size. If your usually in between whole and half sizes, I would opt for the half size. I wear a 9 in ugg classic boots, but got the 9 1/2 in these. I’m so glad I did.

As mentioned by other posts, the boot is not lined in shearling. So don't use your normal closed shoe size. I am an 8 all the time except for sandals and the 8s were way to big. Why a famous brand skimps on the inside of the boot is beyond me. There is no cushion on the footbed and no arch support. Whats up UGG?? Its a beautiful boot but why skimp on the bare necessities. Going back.

So, I have been on a mission to find the perfect slipper that fits, is comfortable and supportive (and looks nice). So far I have had to send several back. It's kind of weird because 3 that I ordered (UGG) were size 7 which is what I thought I might wear because of the fluff. One of those was huge! These were all returned (I used to wear a 6 1/2 when I was younger. The Elowen (this pair) were sold out in anything near my size. But then a few days later I found them on Amazon with 1 available in 6 1/2 so I took a chance because I love the style. (Also keep in mind that a pair I purchased a couple years ago were size 8 and the only ones left moccasin style and tight but did loosen up and I kept those and still love them. So two 7's have been too tight in varying ways, and one huge. These are 6 1/2 and fit perfect. (there is no fluff in them) As soon as I put them on my feet I knew! they are a little narrower than I expected and snug in that way, but in no way tight. I can even wear light socks, but they are developing some give as I wear them and are even more comfortable. They look awesome and can be worn outside or inside. I would not wear them in rain, snow or muddy conditions thought. (I sprayed them with water-proofing). Finally! I am keeping them unless they implode! :)))
