Purchased to use at work in the hospital to hold things (ultrasound, supplies, wallet, phone, pens, etc). Realise it would be very useful for a number of applications where a few items need to be on your person. Great quality materials (webbing, zipper pulls, pockets, etc.) as expected from Arc. I don't understand the back slide pocket (inside the mesh padding) - it is too shallow for my Pixel 4 phone, and doesn't have a button or velcro or snap so I wouldn't put anything valuable inside it.

I bought this item a few months back for when im on the go. Has nice organization with a key clip and cell phone holder for easy access to my phone without having to open and close the bag itself. Surprisingly roomy for a side bag.

Very easy to put everything in the 2 zip pocket. But the back part for the phone not so suitable for iPhone because it's big and easy fell some part out of the pocket

2 unique features I can't find in other bags : (1) slip back pocket allows easy but secure safe frequent access to my iPhone 11 with case (2) two "handles" for waist strap allow me to cut off straps and instead use my Peak Design lease strap which allows one finger frequent length adjustment across my shoulder because I don't use it as a fanny pack. I also attach Lixada magnetic fish holders to each handle for ready frequent access to my main key chain when I don't need to more securely place keys in main bag compartment. Internal zippered security pocket for infrequent but essential when needed ID & magnetic company door access cards & seldom used cash. 2 outside "pockets" on back panel where excess waist strap is suppose to hide when too long fits a pepper spray canister and the other side a pen. Outer most zippered front pocket allows carriage of infrequently used keys and garage door key fob. Attaching a Nite Ize S-Biner slide lock carabiner to zipper pull or strap handles offers extra utility.

First of all I was against the man bag/purse, and now I dont leave home without it. The Mantis 1 is the perfect size. Fits a full sized apple iPhone 14 Pro Max inside, and I use the divider so it has its own spot in the main compartment. This way I won't worry when I toss my keys in the main compartment. The mantis is quite amazing at its job... Carrying my daily gear and keeping my pockets empty. I carry my wallet in the internal zipped compartment, pocket knife in the main, AirPods, and my glasses all fit with room to spare. When extending the strap all the way it works well as a sling. It also washes well as I have hand washed and allowed to air dry looking as good as new. Overall I'm really impressed with this little bag. Picked up the BEAMS and Black version so I have 2. The only con not really a con is the BEAMS and Black are a bit different in size both being Mantis 1 the BEAMS is larger. (Not by much but it is noticeable)

I love this bag! It can be worn around the waist to keep your valuable. The strap is long enough to wear cross body as well which gives it versatility. A+++

When I travel I wear a slim pack around my waist hidden under my shirt when I travel (holds my passport, proof of vax, credit cards and cash), and I wanted to also carry a not-so-large waist pack that I could wear cross cross body (to hold my cell phone and epi pens) under my jacket. This is perfect!

I had been looking for a small bag for bit and this bag checked all the boxes! The strap is long/adjustable and the bag can be worn easily on the side for a more modern look, or on the waist. I especially love the pocket inside which has a zipperperfect for holding your small wallet. The bag is small, but mighty and I always fit a ton of stuff in it (I've fit a folded up jacket and small umbrella inside)! It's perfect for a casual night out or a trip to the grocery store. Overall love the bag and can't recommend it enough!

This pack was designed with every detail in mind. I have used this pack on 10 mile hikes in the elements, or just walking my dog through the city.- The Mantis truly does it all. The pockets are the perfect size with dividers for your phone, wallet or whatever else in the main pocket. The front pocket is the perfect size to easily access your keys without digging through the main compartment of the pack. The cellphone pouch on the back is an absolute game changer. Often times I will get out of my car and quick slide my phone in this pouch so I don't drop it and it is still perfectly accessible without digging through the main compartment. The contoured shape makes this pack insanely comfortable to wear cross body with or without a jacket. The adjustable strap is long enough to fit almost anyone. I am 6' 210 lbs and this pack still contours to my side just right. I've tried to wear other waist pack style packs cross body, and they just do not have the same fit or function as the Mantis. Based on my experience with this entry level Arc'teryx pack, I will absolutely order a larger pack in the future since I know it will be designed with the thoughtfulness of the Mantis.

I just recently purchased this bag, as I need to carry around an Epipen with me everywhere I go and it's very uncomfortable in a pocket, and I must say I'm very pleasantly surprised. My girlfriend has been bugging me for a while now to get myself a small bag to carry everywhere, and when her and I saw this one in store I knew I had to get it. The hidden mesh pocket is excellent for holding a face mask, as you can keep the ear elastics out to quickly pull the mask out. The zipped inner pocket inside the main pocket is great for anything small and thin, such as receipts or other papers, single use hand sanitizer, or a microfibre cloth. The smaller outer pocket has a clip, which is useful too. I'm going to get a small, blade-less multi-tool to put in the bag, and I keep my sunglasses and AirPods in there too when I'm not using them. It's the perfect EDC bag if you don't have a large carry. The only concern I have is that I'm unsure about water resistance, but this isn't a hiking bag or survival bag so it's really not much of an issue. It seems like it'll hold out the rain well enough, which is all that matters for my particular use-case

This keeps my daily necessities organized and in one place when I leave my home. Wallet, phone, keys, hand sanitizer and a few smaller items fit perfectly without any excess space. This pouch is well designed and constructed. The materials are high quality and what you'd expect from Arc'teryx. I have no doubt this pouch will last me a very long time. It's also very comfortable to wear across your body or on your waist. I highly recommend this product.

Received this as a gift and couldn't be happier with it. Perfect size, weight, and the pockets are very well sized. The concealed pocket on the back is also a great feature.

This bag has become indispensable in our household. We use it for all our necessities when we head out with the dog: dog treats, doggie bags, miscellaneous dog stuff, a phone and keys. Seems very roomy for the size and has lots of pockets for organization. I like the outside phone pocket. My phone fits snuggly in it and it is nice not having to zip open the pouch to access my phone. It has held up to a lot of abuse. I would love a waterproof version for rainy dog walks. However, it does dry quickly though if it gets soaked. I am debating getting one for myself that I don't have to share with the dog. I could see it being useful for bike rides and maybe even multipitch climbing, in addition to every day use.

I bought this bag a while bag to have as part of my collection of waist/fanny/sling bags. It is much bigger than the 1.5 liters and it is extremely well made and compartmentalized. But sometimes I get bored of wearing my bags and just want to carry them. This bag being a bit larger really doesn't lend itself to just hand hold it. But today I discovered that by folding one side of the strap and putting in the strap keeper compartment, I can make a small handle with the strap! Now I carry it by the "handle" if I want and can throw it in the car and grab and go. This really is a nice feature that will now have me using this bag more.

This is perfect size, well made, quality light weight fabric, the functionalities exceeds my expectations. Well thought out design to the smallest details, from zippers to pockets. There is an interior hook in the front pocket for things like keys. The back have a slot pocket that is perfect or my iphone - it fits so perfect that I am not afraid of it slipping out for the most part. Very comfortable and good size for both men and petite females. It's so lightweight and comfortable, at time I forget I have it hanging on my waist. I can fit my phone, extra masks, travel size packet of wipes, thin wallet, lip gloss, hand sanitizer, lotion.
