I had high hopes with this shoe. The color is more abrupt than I thought it would be. And it is sooo tight. I am trying to get an exchange, but having trouble.

I use these shoes daily for work and they already have holes in them. The fabric is also very hard to keep clean. Love the fit and how comfortable they are but unfortunately they just aren't working out. Considering the cost, they are not up to par.

I was excited to get a 2 nd pair of TEVA'S as my first pair of trail Sandals proved to be awesome. I walk 1-2 miles a day & need the foot bed support. This pair are only "ok." The support is not as good as first pair & not as cushioned. The wear & tear is also a disappointment for the cost. I have to be careful where & when I wear them as little splashes tend to need a deep cleaning. So, would advise to think twice before putting out the cost for Gateway low Griffen. Will try 1 more pair before I say no to TEVA. Thx

These shoes fit well and they are very light weight, made of rip-stop type nylon fabric. They are not as durable, nor do they have sturdy foot-bed insert. The foot insert is very soft and thin and does not provide much cushion.

I have been a Teva customer for over 15 years. I always felt that they had really good arch support. and good soles. The two pair I recently purchased have very little arch support and do not feel cheap in comparison to my previous purchases

I love Teva because they are usually wide enough for me. I don't wear "wide" size shoes, but my feet are wide-ish. These don't fit like the sandals or Ember. Way more narrow. I had to send them back.

I've worn this shoe only a couple of times and it's just too narrow in the ball/toes. After time it made my feet a little numb. I want to like because they're so cute.

They did not have a high enough arch. My Teva sandals were perfect and I thought the tennis shoes would be the same. Sadly they weren't so I returned them and bought Chacos which are much higher.

Great shoe for work (I'm a teacher) but tried it out walking on paved path and hiking and the very flexible sole left the balls of my feet aching.

I've been walking 5 miles three days out of every four for the last year and a half. Until I got these shoes, I'd been using the cheapest running shoes I could find. I wore out 3 of those in about a year, so I decided I should get something better. My research came up with the Teva Gateway Low as the best shoe for my regular 5 mile walks on concrete. My research could only have been more wrong with a lot more effort. I have never - and I mean never - gotten blisters on my feet. Not from new shoes, not from hiking 16 miles in a day on the Appalachian Trail. My fifth day of walking in these shoes resulted in a huge blister on my right heel. I've figured out how to deal with that and have continued walking. I have found that these shoes really don't have enough cushion for walking long distances at a brisk pace on concrete comfortably. I am truly disappointed since everything I read talked these shoes up. I'll continue to use them until I wear them out since I've paid for them, but I'm going back to the comically low priced Jabasic running shoes from Amazon.

These shoes are incredibly unattractive. No sense of appealing style whatsoever. If I were in my 80's and needed a comfortable matronly looking shoe I still would not buy these. I would choose Dr Scholls or Easy Spirits. All equally ugly shoes but more comfortable than Teva.

Returned it. Too small. Loved the colors. Tried them in 1 size bigger & could not even get my foot in.

Shoe is too flexible and pitches to the inside. Top too soft for there to be any support.

The shoe feels very tight. Unfortunately, I noticed this after I started a walk in these shoes. Unable to exchange, since I had worn them outside.

Barely worn for a month and the fabric near ankle opening already coming apart. Wish I could get a refund.

Purchased the Gateway low for simply walking and noticed that when I was on a flat but dry surface, the soles would slide? I question this as the surfaces weren't wet. The description mentions a hike but I would not apply them to a hike. Very light shoe and material. May have to re-consider and return them. The insoles are very thin.

I really wanted to like these shoes. Not because of how they look but because I wanted a waterproof hiker for daily walks with my dog. These are terrible. Hurt, hurt, hurt!!!! I've never had foot problems but for some reason, after wearing these on hikes around the lake, my right heel hurts terribly. It hurts so bad it seems to make my whole leg ache. I don't understand it. I bought some Dr. Scholl's insoles to provide support and while that makes them better, I still avoid these shoes in fear of aches that make me feel like a little old lady. I'm 50. I wish I could return them. If you take 4-5 mile hikes, avoid these shoes.

I asked which shoe had the same footbed as the Omnium and was told the Gateway did. The fit is not the same at all - the heel is high, the toe is narrow. I originally ordered in the same size as my Onimum and the shoes were huge. Returned for half size smaller and still not a fit. I haven't returned them because I left on a three month trip the day I received them.

The material used for the top of the shoe did not 'give'. My bunion hung over the darker nylon toe trim. Uncomfortable. I love Teva's and will try again! I was glad they started making a tennis shoe.

I have always purchased TEVA hiking shoes. These are very narrow; however, the toe well is roomy. Painful to wear more than a few minutes for me.

I have only had luck with TEVA hiking shoes and boots. Surprised these did not work.

Had to send back. These were very stiff and narrow. I have over five pairs of Tevas and this is the first pair that didn't feel right. Not comfortable at all.
