I bought this glove about a year ago for mainly as a light alpine climbing/touring option. Initially I was not impressed but found that the glove quickly won me over. It's not particularly warm, not particularly water-resistant, but it is light and extremely dexterous. The way this glove cynches to your hand combined with the gripping leather makes it almost like a second skin, meaning there's really no need to take it off in chilly conditions, especially since you can operate a touch screen with them. I found I used them just as much ice climbing, alpine climbing, and skiing as I did just walking around the city in cold weather. The only problem is that the thin leather makes these not quite so durable, but I enjoy them so much I'm repairing them myself.

Whatever you think your size is, size up and you won't regret it. I didn't read the reviews upon measuring and purchasing the appropriate size, and now my size is OOS :(

I like these gloves for cold weather biking, but not ice climbing. I was looking for something with more dexterity than my OR Ouray gloves. The back of the hand is insulated, but the palm is thin leather. Because of the snug fit, I can't fit a liner underneath. Great for driving or biking, but I wont take them ice climbing again.

I love these gloves! They were tight to put on at first, but not they literally fit like a glove. They're not too thick, so I can still handle things properly with my hands. Awesome against the cold weather, but not waterproof. I usually don't like wearing gloves, but these ones I enjoy. They look really slick too!

Great gloves but they look like they're supposed to be on a lady's hand. I ended up cutting the lace off the top and they look a lot better. Wouldn't recommend for a men's glove but for a woman's glove, absolutely.

This glove are almost perfect. I have taken these gloves climbing and scrambling through a couple 14ers here in CO. The fit is a little weird...I normally run a Medium, but I ended up getting XL so my fingers dont feel constricted and so the glove goes down to the webbing between each finger. They offered great protection and grip while climbing. I can feel the detail in the rock with each grip giving me more confidence on my holds. They also block the wind which I love. On a warmth factor of 1-5 (5 being hella warm) these gloves are definitely a 1. I tried putting on a liner for warmth but it wont fit. The cuffs are pretty small and dont expand when putting your hand in, not sure why it was designed like that, maybe to keep the draft out?

I have these gloves for more than a year. I initially planned to use them for the camera gloves. For winter camping (again about 0 degrees Celsius), tent setting, camera usage, they finish the job. You just need to be active and they will keep your hands warm. But be prepared for cold hands if you have passive mornings or just not moving around.

Most important: size: be aware run small. Medium size is for really small hand. Fits fine overall, but I assume for functionality a bit bulky on the back of the fingers with open hand. Fist / grab movements are comfortable. I will use it to fit the style and light tasks - like for trekking poles. I don't think the leather withhold more serious traction.

These are great gloves and are my leading gloves in moderate temperatures. They leach black all of your hands though. Adjust accordingly.

Very dextrous gloves, but very thin. Only wear these when you start your high output activity. They are far too cold for approaches or belaying. Also don't use these if you're just looking for a bit of insulation outdoors; a much cheaper fabric glove will do better.

I have pretty big hands and extra-large should fit me but these fit small. They stretched out a little bit so they're tolerable now but still wish there was a double XL, they don't really keep my hands warm if it gets under 40 I noticed , but they do look cool so there's that.

Gloves are nicely styled but... I bought and returned both gloves as they fit very narrow, painfully narrow. Barely able to do the wrist straps up - both size XL and no XXL is available. My hands are never a XXL in gloves so... Also, no touch screen capability is not ok in the price range.

I measured my hands and was kind of in between sizes. Went for the smaller ones and it was a mistake. If you're in between sizes, go up, not down

It is a great idea, unfortunately the fit is different from glove to glove. Ive fit Large and I have had XL be too small.

I have to return. I used Arc'teryx size chart and it indicated between medium and large. I ordered large and it takes a lot of effort to get in on my hand. It is uncomfortably tight. Maybe it will stretch in time, but I don't want to find out it won't at my expense. I think I'll try and order an extra large.

I bought these gloves hoping they'd live up to the other Arc'teryx products I have. The description of the product matches my intended uses for them, so I gave them a go. I used these gloves while climbing up a couloir in Idaho when I needed dexterity with ice tools and protection. Any water that gets onto these gloves, soaks into the leather palms, and will become very cold and wet. Not a good scenario when you're up in the mountains. If your palms perspire to any extent, expect the leather to retain the moisture and make your hands cold. The leather isn't very durable either and starts to shred if you grip sharp granite. These gloves are lightweight and I'd only recommend these if you plan to do light hiking in moderately cold winter, as long as you don't touch any snow/ice. Lastly, as others have noted, the gloves stain your hands black for a bit.

Bought these based on the XL Rush (own 2 pairs) and an older XL model of glove that doesn't appear to be sold anymore, and these were way too small. I ended up giving them away to my Dad... Too bad, because the construction of them was very nice and they would have been useful.
