Bought these for touring in. Great for cold but not frigid winter days. The touch pads work much better than expected

These gloves are light and warm and are my go to for driving, trail walks, and around town. The palms and fingertips are grippy and they easily fit in my pocket while not taking up a lot of space. I also own the Venta gloves but they are not as warm or comfy feeling as the Rivets although they are more wind and water resistant. The Rivets are definitely worth the money.

brought these a couple of weeks ago and have been really impressed with the quality of the gloves and stitching of the leather I mainly use these cycling and running I also think these gloves are quite thin and would be a good lining for another bigger glove.

Bought for between seasons in the north and have been using for light hiking and a daily glove in Yellowknife at -7 to -10C. Really comfortable and enough insulation to stay warm at these temps. Quite happy with them so far, I would say they are not built for rugged use.

I ride horseback daily and these are the best gloves to still have feel in my hands, not bulky at all and keep my fingers from freezing. I can also use my touch screen on my phone with no issues at all. My first pair was too tight around the wrist and eventually the seem around the wrist tore. I'm on my second pair and it wasn't quite as snug. No issues at all after two years of wear, except I finally wore them out. I'm ordering more now.

I bought the rivet gloves 4 months ago and was a bit concerned about the price tag. I own several other pieces from Arc'teryx(Softshells, hardshells etc.) so I do know the quality but still thought the price was a bit steep. Here 4 months later my concerns is brought to shame. I've been using the gloves everyday since the day i got them and I love them. As you can read in the activity section they are used in a wide range. They been used in temps low as -8 celsius(dry conditions) to 10+ celsius(wet conditions) they keep the wind out fairly well, concidering that its not a windstopper garment.
The Arc'teryx rivet glove also sheds light rain still keeping your hand warm, if they do get wet they dry fast because of the fabric used. My handsize in most brands is a size 9, so I got the rivet glove in medium and the size is perfect -with a trim fit - as the glove is designed for. I never had a pair of gloves which was touchscreen capable, this works flawlessly and I can answer calls, type short messages and genereally operate a touchscreen with ease.
I've owned several other gloves in similiar style and fabric, and the problems with them all has genereally been stichting and the glove beeing slippery in the hand palm, which makes it impossible to operate a vehicle. The stichting on these gloves is still perfect after 4 months of use and due to the leather inforcement in the hand palms on these gloves they can operate a vehicle safely.
I have not used these as a liner with a hardshell style glove over it yet, but i can imagine that it would be a really good combination due to the trim fit and really good dexterity in the rivet glove. I will buy the Arc'teryx rivet gloves again without hesitations when they die someday.
Thank you, dead bird skeleton brand.

I have Raynaud's disease and am generally pretty wary of touchscreen-friendly gloves as fingertip pads tend to be colder than the rest of the glove (which makes my fingertips go numb). These are the exception - the pads work extremely well and do not transmit cold. Even better, I'm able to do things like remove a credit card from my wallet or tie my boots without taking off my gloves. They're comfortable (for me) down to around 30F.

I have been looking high and wide for some time now for gloves that were a little warmer than my E-Tips, and these Rivets by far are the best I found in terms of value and performance. Not only are they roughly 2X as warm as the E-Tips, but they alo fit much better and provide for far better touch screen connectivity and fine dexterity overall. From a looks standpoint I wasn't very fond of the Arcteryx logo being so prominent (I'm not a fan of their logomark in general though, tbh), but a few strokes with a black Sharpie marker and it's far less noticeable now : ) All in all some really great gloves.

Best gloves I've had. Fits perfectly. I read the reviews and were a little concernes over relatively bad feed back. The gloves fit me perfect and I take great care to not rip them apart when putting on (I have slim hand wrists).
And now after 1 year use they still fit perfect - BUT the stitches are starting to unrawel on the wrist part on one of the glowes. Plan to see if I can fix it carefully.

I'm always on the lookout for smooth liner gloves with reinforcement in the hands that I can use by themselves for the uphill side of touring and then slide into a thicker pair of gloves for the downhill side. These gloves fit that bill better that just about any other glove. Most gloves are either too thick or to fuzzy to slide easily into and out of a heavier glove repeatedly like you do with touring. They work fine for downhill where you don't take off your gloves that often but not so well for touring. These because they are smooth, slip in and out really well. and they shed the snow. However, they aren't very durable. I end up sewing them up occasionally where the seams or the fabric just gives up and the material itself wears out after a season.

The gloves are very light and nimble, so would assume they work well as liners too. The outside is somewhat rough, not smooth as I thought looking at the image. But that doesn't really matter as such.
I just used them in 0 Degrees Celsius (sorry no idea about Farenheit) and would say that's about low as they can go. Any colder and at least my hands would have been cold. But I think that's OK achievement considering how thin the gloves are. So far I've used them just for walking the dog, so no comment on how they work in snowboarding etc action.
Durability is of course rather impossible to comment after 1 week of usage but they seem to be well built with reinforcements in right places. So I'm pretty sure they will last for awhile.
All in all I would say they are a very nice pair of gloves!
