Bottom line- DON'T buy this particular style of jacket as it is a total waste of money. I never write reviews, but I had to with this jacket- to WARN you! I have owned many North Face jackets over the years. It is the only brand I have bought over many years for myself and my family. I am a very loyal customer. This has been the worst jacket I have ever owned. The craftsmanship is not like all my other NF jackets. The jackets balls up and snags on the Velcro tabs with just normal casual wear. The jacket soaks up the water and doesn't repel the water. The inside jacket wrist snap tabs broke the first time I wore it. I am extremely disappointed with my purchase and regret buying this jacket. It was a waste of my money. North Face should stop selling it. I wish I could return it but I purchased it during the summer and didn't realize the poor quality until I wore it during winter/ski season. So I am stuck with it.

I bought this as my new ski jacket. I love the color as well as the removable liner which doubles as a light jacket. 3 jackets in 1!! It's perfect for what I need!

This jacket is incredible. The layers are perfect for cold to a bit warmer. I brought it to Iceland - wore all layers hiking a glacier, removed the outer layer when walking around town!

Bought this jacket for skiing. I prefer a shell that I can layer under as needed. Since the interior jacket zips out this is perfect. The colors are as pictured. The fit is true to size. I wear M and with the jacket in the shell, I'm good with range of motion. It's not oversized & arms are not overly long. I'm 5'5", 125 lbs

Finally retired a 90s Denali /w Mtn shell; which may have been the warmest combo ever. Tried this out in Vail w/ 60mph winds. I did have extra layers underneath but this kept me warm without the bulk

Excellent triclimate 3 in 1 option for ski. The shell is really lightweight. The thermoball jacket is a nice thin insulated layer that traps heat well without bulk. Put together, it feels like a substantial ski jacket. I like the long length, it's flattering and also useful to keep my bum warm and dry. There aren't a ton of bells and whistles, but plenty of pockets for any nessecities. I just wish the pockets on the inner jacket had zips. In terms of size, I'm 5'5" 128lbs and a Medium in this jacket fits best. Normally, I fit a xs or small for everything, all of my other North Face or Patagonia gear are S but I could have gone xs. However, with this jacket a small feels constricting across the shoulders when reaching forward, it also bunches slightly after I raise my arms up and lower them back down. These are things I don't want in a ski jacket, so I sized up and it is much better for freedom of movement. That being said, a S looked really good on me if I were to wear it casually around town. So if you're looking at this jacket just as a snow jacket for non athletic activities, it's true to size. If you want true mobility, size up.

I love the ThermoBall jackets. My husband and I are in the mountains for the winter and I find them perfect for being able to layer when the weather can be warm one day and cold and rainy the next. Make sure to measure your shoulders but the small works good for me even with a sweatshirt 5'7 (145). Color looks dark but isnt very attractive dust rose on a sunny day.

I bought this product for skiing and love it. It's roomy and I love that you're basically getting 3 jackets in one. Can't beat that for the price. Super warm and lots of pockets

I haven't used this yet skiing, but the fit is great. The inner white puffy has a nice feminine fit and looks good. Excellent quality for a good price.

I spotted this amazing jacket in the North Face display window. I had to go in and try it on. It fits perfectly and it's so warm and comfy! I had to go back to get the matching hat. Absolutely love it!
