It's like a sherpa blanket for a jacket. Definitely warm and good for weather under 50 degrees. I purchased a large and I wear XL t shirts. 5'8" 195 lbs. If you want extra room get a XL but the L fits really good. I washed it a couple times already and you know what happens to sherpa after wash and dry, this isn't any different than blankets. Just use the recommended wash and dry instructions on the tag.

This hoodie is not only the most comfortable fleece hoodie I've ever owned, it fits perfect and is awesome quality for the price. Columbia has some of the best gear when it comes to comparing to other outdoor brands and for the price this hoodie is top notch.

I love this hoodie very warm and cozy I'm a very tall female so I don't care to wear a guys hoodie for the length of the sleeve I got a extra Lx not thinking so it fit a little bit big but who Doesn't love a oversize cozy hoodie

I got this to have an additional layer when going out. I wanted something warm yet comfortable, and I also was hoping it would make for good casual wear. It ticks all of the boxes and is something I've been wearing almost everyday since receiving!

Stupid warm and comfortable. Don't really see it as mid layer piece, it's definitely and outer layer. Runs real loose and baggy. I'm 6'1" 200lbs and the large seems slightly to big for me. I still wear it without issues, but I could have probably pulled off a medium as well.

comfortable sweatshirt. I like heavy sweatshirts and this one is not quite as thick and warm as I was hoping. Still, fits very nicely and works well 'California' cold. I really like the henley style.
