You're tempted, because they look like sneakers on the bottom -- but don't get 'em if your kid will be wearing them in SNOW. They get soaking wet and take multiple days to dry out; true for both the fur top and the interior. Also, the top of one of our boots ripped in 2 places within one month of regular wear and the lining is coming out. Just not warm/dry/sturdy enough for winter play.

The fit and size was great and my daughter liked how they felt on her feet. The issue we had was that we get a bit of snow here in Alaska and the tongue of the boot is not connected all the way up the boot so any snow that is higher then 2 feet would end up getting inside her boots and make for a miserable time outside each time she played in the snow. I think for cold weather and not much snow, these boots would be wonderful!

My son loves these boots. He is 4 so being independent is a must. The velcro is easy for him to open and close thus making it fun putting on his shoes himself. They do look a little big but appropriate for a 4 year old. He says they are very comfortable. The sole bends and is super flexible.

My 6 year old daughter loves the style, fit, ease of taking this boot on/off; however, this boot is best on a cold, dry day. It is not waterproof and the lining as well as foot pad takes a few days to dry after a wear in snow or rain.

These are adorable and functional at the same time. My daughter is wearing 11’s and 12’s but we went with a 13 in the Whitney boot to give room for thick socks. I despise heavy snow boots for children so I was thrilled to find these. I hope they continue to make this style because I would buy this every year!

I ordered this for my 4year old, I wanted something not bulky and lightweight since he is at preschool all day and they do go play outside. This boot really met my expectations and with the velcro is easy for him to put it on and take it off. One thing though, I had originally ordered a toddler size 10 but they were too small so I returned and ordered one size up.

This is a great boot! However, it did not fit my sons feet and I went up a size. My son is 6 years old and size 12.5. I ordered a size 13 and it was too tight on him. Will have to return. Other than that its a nice boot!

Runs very small, get your kids like 2 sizes bigger otherwise it wont last long. Also, I didn't like that the strap part of the boot is very narrow. so straps tend to come un -velcroed. Which, is why buying way bigger would help as well.

These boots had potential- I was happy about the insulation and felt they would keep a young child's foot ward. They also opened wide for getting on a toddler's foot. However, they were so very narrow that I could only get three of my own fingers inside the boot (toddler size 9) and my fingers didn't even have wiggle room. That is unacceptably tight for a child's shoe considering that all children's feet are wider at the toes. These boots would have forced toes to be smashed up against one another. I could not even consider them for that reason.

I ordered what said “Big Kid 4” but it was toddler 4. These are very cute little boots, and my 12yo had fun trying to fit her toe into the toddler size. So be warned, the description is correct (toddler!) and the size drop down wrong.

Our four year old active boy loves these! Can get them on by himself and they keep his feet warm!

My little guy loves these. I like how they are warm and well made without being clunky and hard to run around in. Other snow boots can be so bulky and heavy. Not these. Also, I love that he can put them on/take them off on his own. Will 100% buy these again next winter.

My 4 yr old loves these boots! These are his second pair just bought a size up this year. He says they are super comfortable and also very easy to get on and off. Love that they ate also stylish. You can’t go wrong with Sorel

Just didn’t seem warm enough for what we needed

The straps kept coming off and did not protect from getting the snow inside the boots. My daughter’s feet were icy cold as completely wet after an hour of playing in the snow. I do not recommend these boots.

My child is in love with them

My kids lived in these boots from November to March! They’re comfy, easy for them to put on themselves and don’t require crazy warm socks thanks to the lining. For active siblings, they were also fine on the playground and no one tripped (more than usual anyway!). Buying our second seasonal pairs now!

Exchanging and sizing up by one size
