I have one of these in brown which I love. I went to buy one for my partner in gray. As another reviewer stated, the "taupe gray" shown on the website is not the true color. It does definitely have a purple hue to it. Carhartt, please correct your images to match the correct color of the fabric. Now I have to figure out how to return this. Other than the color, I love the vest that I have. It's warm and good quality. Though, mine doesn't have a loop to hang it and the new one I ordered does. Maybe I got an old version.

I love the Sherpa-lined mock vest! I believe it runs true to size. I especially love the inside zipper pocket. It works perfectly under my relaxed-fit jacket when it's colder outside.

First off I ordered the taupe grey vest in store then was surprised with a cancellation email a few days later when I certainly hadn't cancelled it. I called customer service who said it was a "glitch" on their end and I would have to reorder. I since reordered the vest, in taupe grey but received a vest that is medium brownish-purple. My order as well as email confirmation show a light grey vest but I am very confused and upset as to why it's not the color advertised. I have always been a big fan of carhartt but this was one poor experience.
