Nice shape, a great layer for outdoor work.

It's very nice. I actually bought this as a gift for my daughter who is 14. I do wish there was an option for an extra extra small as it is still slightly too big for her. She still loves it, but she is done growing and the appearance of the child's vest is not the look she was going for. She loves her dads vest and wanted that look. So I do hope in the future there will be an option for an extra extra small. In women's clothing and vest just because my girls are extremely petite and the children's clothing do not have the same look in appearance as the adult Carhartt. Otherwise it was her favorite Christmas gift! .

I gave it as a gift and she loves it. It fits well and the material is strong but soft enough to be very comfortable, plenty of pockets.

The fit is not right the shoulders flare out on top at the edge as does the waist. Why?

I absolutely love it. It's super warm, and it runs a TAD bit big, but big enough to where I can fit an extra jacket underneath if needed.

A friend has one of these and loves it. She's washed it over & over & it still looks great; has become softer & more drapey over time. It has always fit her true to size. I have read the reviews & found the taupe gray true color that people were complaining wasn't accurate in photos (hopefully you can get an idea in attached photo). Can be worn inside or outside.. not too heavy to take a chill off (when playing thermostat wars with your husband) but also a great warm layer for working outside or running errands. I will be ordering the taupe gray because I know what the real color is and I love purple hues but be aware, it isn't light gray. Carhartt, please bring back the "basil" color.. so great for spring.

This is my second vest. My first vest I wore all year long and found it very comfortable. As it was getting quite shabby I decided to order another new vest. I love the dark maroon color. I am very happy with both vests.
