Usually a small in Carhartt but had to return for a medium because waist was too tight. This is a great, warm jacket - got it mostly for dog walking and working outside. Like that the pockets are deep, there's a hood and elastic at waist keeps out the breeze. And it's cute to boot!

I ordered an L, the fit is a little strange. I’m 5’11, average build. The waist on this is very roomy, and the arms are quite short for an L jacket. It’s still a great jacket so I’m keeping it, but I wish the arms were an inch or two longer.
