Fit and size is true if you are familiar with Carharrt size. The arm holes are cut larger, so that the vest can be worn over a fleece. I loved the color and style. The major problem with this vest is the shedding. The fleece lining sheds and rubs off on everything. I am surprised that no one else has had this issue. I tried more than one color in this vest, and each one sheds terribly. I also tried to correct the problem with lint rollers, washing, and even the vacuum cleaner. Carharrt has changed the fleece, and it is inferior to old styles. I had to return and give one star overall.
