The shoe looked and felt too narrow even tho it was a “Wide width”- narrow thru the arch and instep. Also felt too short by about a 1/2 size. I feel my big toe up at the very top with no room at all.

Love these! Wore them straight out of the box for a 7 mile run and they felt great during and after. They're so light that when I received the package I wondered at first if they only sent me one shoe or an empty box lol. The tongue is not separate from the rest of the shoe so that took some getting used to, but it's not a huge problem.

I have hated shopping for tennis shoes my entire life. I wear a 10W, which I couldn't find in stores when I was young. Since online shopping has started, I've been able to find more options, BUT they are generally black or other boring colors. When I saw these lime green shoes in my size, I was THRILLED. I have now walked over 400 miles in them, and they may need to be retired soon, but dang... I'm upset I can't find my size in this color again. The lime green is absolutely vibrant and SO fun. I have worn a lot of the tread out on the bottom, and I'm starting to wear a little hole into one of the heels. Nonetheless, I have really been pleased with these shoes. Please add more 10Ws in the green!

The sneaker in a wide, was very wide, compared to other New Balance sneakers.

Love these shoes i now have 4 pair. Easy to work out in, true to size and i have wide feet and size 11 to 12. But got an 11 and they fit fine. My only issue is i got the mint color and the rubbery "foam" looks white in the pictures but is also a mint color. Not a big deal

Very cushy, yet also lightweight: a nice balance. Color is VIBRANT and playful. Hugs my foot and puts some pep in my step. Zappos, you’re the BEST.

I have purchased several of NB's Beacon, v2 (actually multiples of every color) because they feel so wonderful on my feet. These shoes are a different, newer version, and not nearly as comfortable. The arch support is higher than in Version 2 and feels irritating after a couple of hours. Also, the foot bed must be more shallow than in Version 2 because my heel slides up and down with each step. This isn't because the shoe is too large, my foot just isn't held in place as well because the footbed isn't as deep as in Version 2. Please switch the design back to Version 2, New Balance!

Bummer that they changed these Beacons from the previous version. The new heel/ankle area is wider. They added weird foam padding at the ankle to help keep the heel locked in, but it doesn't work. Even with the special lacing to lock in the ankle there was still slippage. Returned these in favor of the tempo. Unfortunate, because I had two pairs of the previous beacon and really liked them.

weirdest sneaker ever. I'm typically a 6Regular. I heard these run narrow, so I decided to order the Wide. I ordered the 6W and when the width was fine, but the shoe was too long (and I mean 1.5inches too long in the toe box area, and returned these and ordered the next size down, a 5.5W. The width again was fine, but now the shoe was way to short in the toebox. Very discouraging. However, the way the shoe was manufactured, it puts your weight in the heel, and allows for no arch support whatsoever. Again, odd, since the design of a sneaker is to have the foot pivot forward, again - it felt like all the weight was in the heel, very odd shoe. Returning again, I won't order a 3rd time.

These run a little small - but last very well. the heel doesnt give out like some walking shoes. I want say how wonderful zappos customer service department is. Malonia chatted with me, when she discovered these shoes were rubbing my feet due to size, she immediately offered a full refund. I will order a replacement for this same shoe, just half a size bigger. Zappos will always have my business because they are so willing to solve whatever your issue is. Thank you Zappos

The fit and size are perfect, I have a wide foot and I ordered a wide in my same size shoe (10) and they fit great! The shoe is lightweight and breathable, perfect for running or walking (I walk). The shoes also look great with athleisure style, they have a thick sole that is very comfortable. If you are looking for a comfortable, lightweight, supportive, stylish shoe that you can wear all day, buy these. This is my third pair.

Very cute and comfortable tennies. I got for walking and got the seafoam green color. The heel is interesting in that it doesn't taper out like most running shoes; it actually tapers in so it takes a little getting used to but not a big deal. My foot feels like it's slipping out in the back a little. I tried a half size smaller and it was worse. I can still feel it a little but it's not a big deal. Overall, I love how they feel and fit.

The 'wide' is more like a regular width. If in doubt, order a half size up and a wider width if you have wide-ish feet. Love the cushiness of these shoes, despite the fact that they are narrower than previous versions.

Love the fit and feel of these shoes. The color looked different from the picture. Enough room for my hammertoe and the rest of the toes. I have wide toe area and small heel.

Love these new shoes. They are lightweight yet supportive. Most shoes bother the outer edge of my right foot. These feel great. I love how cushiony they are. One shoe from The first pair I bought had a crooked tongue (see photo). BUT Zappos sent me another pair and they are perfect.

What I most like about the shoe is the extra depth/height in the toe box—not enough to look goofy, but a bit more than other brands. Sometimes width doesn’t help if the pressure on toes comes from being squeezed from the top. These shoes also have a noticeable bounce which I like, very cushy and super comfortable.

These are very comfortable shoes. I replaced the liner and added an insert, which is necessary with all my athletic shoes. They work great.

Perfect. Fesh Foam all The way. Get a half size larger …normal for any sneaker.

Love these shoes. They are light and comfortable and they look great for not just working out, but walking in the city.

This shoe was outside my budget but I wanted to try it based on the outstanding reviews from user testing at a well-known running store. Well, just like when you try on a wedding dress outside your budget, I just had to have this shoe the moment I laced up. I'm not well versed in all the technical attributes of a running shoe, but I agreed with the technical reviews I read elsewhere on the web. The fit is amazing and the cushioning is just right. I do have high arches and will probably end up needing an insert for that. Everything else about it is a dream. WORTH IT!

Love these shoes. I feel almost as if I'm wearing nothing, they are so light and airy to walk in. I have an ankle with no cartilage in it, so support and cushioning is vital, and these shoes provide that. And I love the look -- compact, attractive. Everything I want in a shoe.

Very comfortable shoes. Length is normal but width is narrow. I normally wear a B width and I had to switch to wide for this shoe. I love the shoes and purchased them in 4 different colors.
